This version of WGET has a system access exploit vulnerability which was
initially reported in October 2005 which is (oddly enough) still not

Please either patch the application to a minimum "safe" level of 1.10.2 or
remove it entirely so that it can no longer be downloaded by unsuspecting
users. Continuing to distribute this version of WGET with a known system
access exploit would be irresponsible and is potentially putting users at
risk.

This is no longer an issue with the recent release of version 1.11.4
