Ok but some translations aren't present in english.xml that's why there are some words in english with a french installation.
For example :
- Open All Recent Files
- Trim trailing and save
- Launch in Firefox
- Launch in IE
and dialog box like Save = Save file "new 1" ?

I just want to point out the word "macro" is feminine in french. So its translation is "une macro" or "la macro" => bad translation in help ballons and in page "Actualité" of 2006/07/30 in french version of Notepad++ website.
You can check what I'm saying with the "Grand Dictionnaire Terminologique" (Great Terminological Dictionary) from the "Office québécois de la langue française" (Québécois office of the French language): http://www.granddictionnaire.com/btml/fra/r_motclef/index1024_1.asp
Thanks for the remarkable work you carry out.
Je souhaite simplement signaler que le mot "macro" est féminin en français. Sa traduction est donc "une macro" ou "la macro" => erreur dans les info-bulles et sur la page "Actualité" du 30/07/2006 sur le site internet en francais de Notepad++.
Je vous invite à vérifier mes dires grâce au Grand Dictionnaire Terminologique de l’Office québécois de la langue française : http://www.granddictionnaire.com/btml/fra/r_motclef/index1024_1.asp

You have chose to use nppcm.dll as a context manager for the Windows explorer, that's great, but you can't translate it... I know this is not important, because everyone understand the word "Edit", but it's unaesthetic, in other langage environment... Couldn't you make a version which reads in xml translation files the words to use in the context menu ?
Thanks for your great job, your editor rocks, I can't stop using it :o)

French translation isn't complete, but i can't update it because english.xml on your website is old since 08-May-2006 : http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/commun/nativeLanguageFiles/
And i suppose than other people use this file to translate N++ so there miss some translations.
Hi !
Well, a registry key would work perfectly, I think, there might be a solution ;)
Please see :

FYI : The French translation is synchronized (updated) :

Laurent
- Open All Recent Files is Hardcoded so as "New1"
- Trim trailing and save
- Launch in Firefox
- Launch in IE
-> you can find in shortcuts.xml file, either in your programfile-path or in %AppData%\notepad++ path.
> - Open All Recent Files is Hardcoded so as "New1"
Correct. I'll try to make "Open All Recent Files" translatable but I doubt for "New1".
For the following entry :
- Trim trailing and save
- Launch in Firefox
- Launch in IE
There's no way to make them translatable since they're macros and user defined commands.
You can change their name via Shortcut mappert (or shortcuts.xml)
Don
Ok
shortcuts.xml is only in %AppData%\notepad++
It's not possible to have shortcuts.xml with translations ?
(I've put below the french version of my message)

J'en profite pour signaler une petite faute dans la traduction. Ce n'est pas "Paramètrage" mais "Paramétrage".

I understand it's not so pretty.
However, it's not possible to read from nativeLang.xml since Explorer menu context component is not part of Notepad++.

Please read "chosen" :o)
