I use Domino on Linux. I'm trying to see if there's a way to push messages from ddclient to port 25 instead of to the sendmail client. Looking through the documentation and the ddclient --help, there doesn't seem to be any mention about alternative MTA's. Is ddclient hardwired to use sendmail?

Then you've not seen Domino. :) It does not respond to sendmail-style commands, nor does it pretend to be sendmail as MTAs like Postfix do. Hence my initial question.

Every MTA I've seen uses the command `sendmail` to send mail so it should work with every MTA.
