Although there was no errors during the processing,
all the shotcuts created by the batch file are bad.
ex: Start Menu\doc\a2ps points "C:\Program Files\gnuwin32\x#"
Platform = W2K
locale = fr

If your are not patient, you can try to fix this yourself. It is actually not a bug of update-links.bat, but of mkshortcut.exe. Nevertheless it's possible to implement a workaround withing update-links.bat: Namely, you have to apply the -d option to mkshortcut.exe (don't ask me why). Alas, sourceforges mailing archiv doesn't work, so I can't guide you to the apropriate mail that describes all the circumstances.
