Virtual WiFi Router for sharing Ethernet, 3G, 4G and Wifi connections.
Using Virtual WiFi you will be able to transform any computer which runs Windows OS into a WiFi router. The program is simple and easy to use, and it offers many useful features, and many others are planned to appear in the future.
The program let you create two types of Wi-Fi networks:
1. Ad-Hoc (local) hotspots - which can be used to share files/services from one computer to other computers;
2.
The protocol MCOM (Multipoint relay Connectionless Multicast) is a connectionless multicast protocol for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks. It scales with a large number of multicast groups and has a good protection for packet delivery under high mobility. The MCOM protocol is suited for dynamic MANETs in terms of mobility and the density of multicast group members. This source code of MCOM is implemented in Click Modular Router, a software architecture for building flexible and configurable routers.
Simple Wireless is a C++ library that provides simple wireless networking functions for Arduino boards, using many inexpensive radio modules. Simple Wireless uses the Virtual Wire library (by Mike McCauley) as the physical layer.
The WRT54GL Tarifa enhanced firmware. Linksys WRT54G/WRT54GS models V1 to V4 and the WRT54GL V1.x This Third Party Firmware is functionaly the same as the original, the improvements are to make this router more scaleable, by increasing the capacity.
