    Integrant

    Integrant

    Micro-framework for data-driven architecture

Integrant is a minimalistic micro-framework for building applications following a data-driven architecture. It lets you define system components declaratively as configuration data and handles lifecycle actions (init, halt, resume) in dependency order, serving as a modern alternative to Component or Mount. Integrant was built as a reaction to fix some perceived weaknesses with Component. In Component, systems are created programmatically. Constructor functions are used to build records, which are then assembled into systems. ...

    Node exporter

    Node exporter

    Exporter for machine metrics

...Scaling is achieved by functional sharding and federation. Existing exporters allow bridging of third-party data into Prometheus. You can enable additional collectors as desired by adding them to your init system's or service supervisor's startup configuration for node_exporter but caution is advised. Enable at most one at a time, testing first on a non-production system, then by hand on a single production node.

    immortal

    immortal

A *nix cross-platform (OS agnostic) supervisor

...Doing this could be tricky, mainly because if you just want to launch your service/worker/daemon, etc you may not want to spend to much time understanding how to properly launch something in the operating system your company is using. Probably you just join a new team and when are about to deploy, found out that the production servers are not using the OS you were used to besides they don’t support/have your known supervisor, have a mix of init/upstart scripts.

    certstrap

    certstrap

Tools to bootstrap CAs, certificate requests, and signed certificates

...Adapted from etcd-ca. certstrap is a very convenient app if you don't feel like dealing with OpenSSL, its myriad of options or config files. certstrap allows you to build your own certificate system. certstrap can init multiple certificate authorities to sign certificates with. Users can make arbitrarily long certificate chains by using signed hosts to sign later certificate requests, as well. If the CN contains spaces, certstrap will change them to underscores in the filename for easier use. The spaces will be preserved inside the fields of the generated files. certstrap requires either -common-name or -domain flag to be set in order to generate a certificate signing request.

    pure sh bible

    pure sh bible

A collection of pure POSIX sh alternatives to external processes

...Each snippet solves a common task (string handling, arrays, math, file operations, argument parsing) and is written in a way that favors clarity and portability over clever one-liners. It’s especially useful for people who have to write init scripts, Docker entrypoints, embedded or minimal-system scripts where Bash is not guaranteed. By centralizing idioms, the repo becomes a reference you can copy from instead of digging through StackOverflow every time. It also encourages good shell habits: quoting, avoiding useless forks, and staying POSIX.
