FreeJ2ME
A J2ME emulator for Windows, Linux, and Raspberry Pi
FreeJ2ME is a simple J2ME emulator with a focus on old mobile phone games. It was designed to run on Windows, desktop Linux, and on the Raspberry Pi 3 using Libretro and Retroarch as provided by RetroPie. It supports some games not playable using MicroEmulator and Kemulat0r, though it does not support every game those play. At the moment, it's best to have all three if you're interested in those types of games. Some games only run at specific resolutions. Per-game configuration is available from the menu (by pressing esc). Preferences are saved and will automatically load. Games automatically scale with the window size, making it easy to play games designed for smaller screen sizes. The Java portion can be built using Apache Ant with the build.xml file provided. The Libretro core can be built using the build.sh script. Installation instructions for the Libretro core for RetroPie are included. Nexus puts the whole ham station in one modern app: FT8/FT4 with WSJT-X-grade sequencing plus Q65, FST4, FST4W, MSK144, JT65 and WSPR all transmitting, RTTY, SSTV, APRS, SSB/FM phone, and CW with a neural-net decoder. The rig's own RF panadapter streams into the cockpit on native-CI-V Icom and FlexRadio. The waterfall pauses and rewinds. Route each band and mode to the radio that does it best, across up to three rigs. Awards (DXCC, WAS, WAZ, VUCC, IOTA) compute offline, and an eQSL or QRZ match never inflates an LoTW-grade award. Propagation uses a native ITU-R P.533 port and scores openings on receivers near you, not the global firehose. APRS draws real station symbols, decodes weather reports, connects to APRS-IS, and runs a receive-only iGate. Speaks WSJT-X's UDP protocol byte-for-byte, so GridTracker and JTAlert keep working. Its FT8/FT4 decode floor measures -21.3 dB against stock WSJT-X's -20.7 on identical audio. Windows, Linux, Raspberry Pi. GPL-3.0, by KD9TAW. -

Alternative Discord client made in C++ with GTK. Abaddon tries its best (though is not perfect) to make Discord think it's a legitimate web client. Some of the things done to do this include: using a browser user agent, sending the same IDENTIFY message that the official web client does, using API v9 endpoints in all cases, and not using endpoints the web client does not normally use. There are still a few smaller inconsistencies, however. For example the web client sends lots of telemetry via the /science endpoint (uBlock origin stops this) as well as in the headers of all requests. Discord likes disabling accounts/forcing them to reset their passwords if they think the user is a spam bot or potentially had their account compromised. While the official client still often gets users caught in the spam filter, third party clients tend to upset the spam filter more often. If you get caught by it, you can usually appeal it and get it restored. -
