    x86-64 os made in crystal

A POSIX-like x86-64 kernel and userspace written in Crystal. A CPU with x64 support is required to run the OS. The Makefile provides a script that will run QEMU on the kernel. To run with storage, an MBR-formatted hard drive image with a FAT16 partition must be provided in the running directory with the name drive.img. The kernel will automatically boot the main.bin executable on the hard drive, or panic if it can't be loaded.

Minimal Linux Live (MLL) is a tiny educational Linux distribution

Minimal Linux Live is a tiny educational Linux distribution, which is designed to be built from scratch by using a collection of automated shell scripts. Minimal Linux Live offers a core environment with just the Linux kernel, GNU C library and Busybox userland utilities. Additional software can be included in the ISO image at build time by using a well-documented configuration file. Minimal Linux Live can be downloaded as a pre-built image, built from scratch or run in a web browser by using a JavaScript PC emulator.

    HackSys Extreme Vulnerable Driver

    HackSys Extreme Vulnerable Driver

HackSys Extreme Vulnerable Driver (HEVD) - Windows & Linux

The HackSys Extreme Vulnerable Driver (HEVD) is a Windows Kernel driver that is intentionally vulnerable. It has been developed for security researchers and enthusiasts to improve their skills in kernel-level exploitation. HEVD offers a range of vulnerabilities, from simple stack buffer overflows to more complex issues such as use-after-free, pool buffer overflows, and race conditions. This allows researchers to explore exploitation techniques for each implemented vulnerability.

    TDL

    TDL

Driver loader for bypassing Windows x64 Driver Signature Enforcement

TDL, or Turla Driver Loader, is an archived Windows research utility focused on unconventional kernel driver loading. It was developed for 64-bit versions of Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10. The project demonstrates a method of loading specially prepared kernel drivers outside the standard Windows driver-loading process. Its design was closely related to research into Driver Signature Enforcement and techniques observed in the Turla malware family. Administrative privileges...

    CoRTOS Simple Cooperative Embedded RTOS

A truly simple cooperative RTOS for bare-metal embedded applications

CoRTOS is a Cooperative Real Time Operating System for bare-metal embedded applications. Its advantages over other systems are that it is fully documented with a manual and examples, is easy to understand and use and is astonishingly simple - the kernel is just 16 lines of C. It is intended for smaller microprocessors, such as the AVR, MSP430, PIC24 and Cortex M0+, and smaller systems of maybe a dozen tasks. CoRTOS is not a task scheduler. CoRTOS works like any other RTOS. Tasks schedule themselves, picking up where they left off after making a call to the OS. The intended audience includes: • Those needing a small footprint RTOS; • Students learning about real time systems; • Makers wanting to program "close to the metal." ...

    Betty

    Betty

Holberton-style C code checker written in Perl

Betty is a Perl-based coding style checker that enforces the Holberton School coding style (inspired by the Linux kernel style) for C code and documentation. It identifies inconsistencies, style violations, and formatting issues in C source files. You should be aware that by default, some text editors are using spaces instead of tabs. For instance, when you press tab key on emacs, by default, leading spaces will be put, and that will cause Betty to raise a lot of warnings. ...

PRTOS Preemptive RTOS for embedded aps

PRTOS is a simple, compact preemptive RTOS for embedded systems

PRTOS is an open-source preemptive real time operating system kernel for embedded applications. It presently supports the AVR and MSP430 architectures. The advantages of PRTOS are: It has the smallest footprint of any true preemptive system: 1.9kB for basic scheduling and task control, 5.1kB with all the features below (AVR '328 / gcc -Os); Only 950 lines of code implement all of the RTOS features (SLOC-L); The system is well documented with a comprehensive manual,...

Partial Image Encryption encrypts the huffman encoded high frequency coefficients in a jpg image file. The encryption is done in-place so the project can eventually be ported to a Windows kernel filter driver. Just encrypting the high level frequency coefficients serves to blur the image, but almost in an artistic way. The image contents are fully recognizable, but the details are pixelated or blurred. The general purpose of this program would be for securing images on the disk or in the...

    GPSpvt

Reading Position, Velocity, Time from a GARMIN GPS via native USB

...But to get viable PVT data, the GPS must support A800 protocol / D800 datatype. For reference see the document: 'Garmin Device Interface Specification, May 19, 2006, May 19, 2006, Drawing Number: 001-00063-00 Rev. C' (file: Garmin Device Interface Specification (May 19, 2006).pdf). Make sure the kernel module 'garmin_gps' is *NOT* loaded; otherwise USB is blocked! Requires Python Version 3.x (developed on 3.5.2).
