    CAM

    CAM

    Class Activation Mapping

This repository implements Class Activation Mapping (CAM), a technique to expose the implicit attention of convolutional neural networks by generating heatmaps that highlight the most discriminative image regions influencing a network’s class prediction. The method involves modifying a CNN model slightly (e.g., using global average pooling before the final layer) to produce a weighted combination of feature maps as the class activation map. Integration with existing CNNs (with light...

    AmPEP and AxPEP

Sequence-based Antimicrobial Peptide Prediction by Random Forest

Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) are promising candidates in the fight against multidrug-resistant pathogens due to its broad range of activities and low toxicity. However, identification of AMPs through wet-lab experiment is still expensive and time consuming. AmPEP is an accurate computational method for AMP prediction using the random forest algorithm. The prediction model is based on the distribution patterns of amino acid properties along the sequence. Our optimal model, AmPEP with 1:3...

    scalalab

A MATLAB like environment for Scala

...The scripting language is based on the Scala programming language enhanced with high level scientific operators and with an integrated environment that provides a MATLAB-like working style. Also, all the huge libraries of Java scientific code can be easily accessible (and many times with a more convenient syntax). TA major design priority of ScalaLab is its user-friendly interface. We like the user to enjoy writing scientific code, and with this objective we design the whole framework. ANDTool

    ANDTool

    Analysis Nuclei DAB (AND) Tool

...The tool requires as input the original RGB images, and the FastRed, FastBlue, DAB channel, easily obtained using the Fiji function: "ImageJ" -> "Image" -> "Colour Deconvolution" -> "FastRed FastBlue DAB" Then, the tool first segment the nuclei using the FastBlue channel and the DAB channel, and then computes statistics by subdividing the sample in three regions according to the FastRed channel: a dark-red ROI, a light-pink ROI and a white ROI. ANDTool is written in MATLAB (The MathWorks, Inc., Massachusetts, USA) and the source code and standalone versions are here available for download. USER MANUAL: see the specific PDF available in the Files section. REQUIREMENTS: MATLAB R2017b and Image Processing Toolbox 10.1 or later versions.
