Open Source Swift Whiteboard Software

ExcalidrawZ is a free, open-source drawing application for macOS, iPadOS, and iOS built with SwiftUI. It brings the familiar Excalidraw canvas into a native Apple interface for creating diagrams, sketches, and visual notes. Users can organize drawings into groups, manage local files, and synchronize documents through iCloud. File history checkpoints allow earlier versions to be reviewed and restored. Its drawing tools support Apple Pencil, customizable shortcuts, and familiar touch gestures. PDF imports and Mermaid diagram conversion help transform existing materials into editable drawings. An integrated AI assistant can generate, inspect, and revise canvas content using visual context. MCP integration connects compatible AI clients, while mathematical tools support LaTeX formulas and function graphs.
