openPOWERLINK is an Open Source Industrial Ethernet stack for communication in hard real-time. It can be operated as both, Managing Node (master) and Controlled Node (slave). With version 2.0, the source code has been cleanly split into an application-oriented user library and a time-critical stack driver. The latter may be moved to a dedicated communication processor or into a kernel module to deliver enhanced performance while still keeping the API in user space. TCNOpen is an open source initiative which the partner railway industries created with the aim to build in collaboration some key parts of new or upcoming railway standards, commonly known under the name TCN. TCN (Train Communication Network) is a series of international standards (IEC61375) developed by Working Group 43 of the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), specifying a communication system for the data communication within and between vehicles of a train. It is currently in use on many thousands of trains in the world in order to allow electronic devices to exchange information while operating aboard the same train. TCNOpen follows the Open Source scheme, as the software is jointly developed by participating companies, according to their role, so as to achieve cheaper, quicker and better quality results. The Interplanetary Overlay Network (ION) software distribution implements Delay-Tolerant Networking (DTN) architecture, as described in Internet RFC 4838. It is intended to be usable in embedded environments, including spacecraft flight computers and ground systems. ION 4.x builds BPv7 (RFC 9171) by default, with a configure option for BPv6 (RFC 5050). Windows installers for both BPv6 and BPv7 are provided.

Strings edit is a library that provides I/O facilities for integers, floating-point numbers, Roman numerals, and strings. Both input and output subroutines support string pointers for consequent stream processing. The output can be aligned in a fixed size field with padding. Numeric input can be checked against expected values range to be either saturated or to raise an exception. For floating-point output either relative or absolute output precision can be specified. UTF-8 encoded strings are supported, including wildcard pattern matching, sets and maps of code points, upper/lowercase, and other Unicode categorizations.

The OS Abstraction Layer (OSAL) project is a small software library that isolates embedded software from the real time operating system. The OSAL provides an Application Program Interface (API) to an abstract real time operating system.

yaSSL, or yet another SSL, is an embedded ssl library for programmers building security functionality into their applications and devices. yaSSL is highly portable, and runs on standard as well as embedded platforms(QNX, ThreadX, VxWorks, Tron) yaSSL is still available but no longer being developed. CrossBrowdy is a free and open-source JavaScript framework that allows to create multimedia apps, emulators, game engines and games that will be compatible with any device. Any software developed with CrossBrowdy should be able to be used in any JavaScript compatible web client (including browser plug-in, add-on, extension, app...) which supports "document.getElementById". This framework allows any developer to manage easier many different things, such as audio (with Flash fallback, audio pool, etc.), canvas (with DHTML, VML, Flash or Silverlight fallbacks), screen, mouse, keyboard, gamepads, sockets (including PHP proxy fallback), XHR / AJAX (with PHP proxy for cross-domain requests), device sensors (compass / magnetometer, gyroscope, accelerometer, light sensor, proximity sensor...) and many more.

Greyhound Lua is a distribution of Lua intended to be used for the FIRST Robotics Competition. Teams can use this to write their robot code in Lua. Greyhound Lua is in no way endorsed or sponsored by US FIRST.

The library provides an implementation of intervals for Ada. It includes arithmetic and relational operations. The library supports intervals with integer and floating-point bounds. Dimensioned intervals are also supported

This library provides an implementation of tables indexed by strings. The binary search is used for names of known length. It is also possible to search a table for names of unknown length, i.e. to parse a string using some table. Table elements can be of any private type. Key- insensitive tables are supported.

The library provides an implementation of dimensioned values for Ada. Unit checks are made at run-time, if not optimized out by the compiler. SI and irregular measurement units are supported. Shifted units like degrees Celsius are supported too. Conversions from and back to strings are provided for all various irregular units. An extensive set of GTK widgets for dealing with dimensioned values is included, though use of GTK is not mandatory for the rest of the library.

CLIck allows you to create flat or hierarchical CLI (command line interfaces) in an extremely easy and quick way, supporting very popular features like history with command recalling, context-based auto-completion, tab-based command list, automatic command-line help, special characters, automatic structure builder, and much more. CLIck is written in ANSI C and tested on C and C++ applications on several architectures. It doesn't depend on any external library and uses only a very small subset of POSIX APIs. Despite the project name, you won't need your mouse at all!

ColdFrame generates Ada framework code and documentation from UML models. The project has now moved to Github (https://github.com/simonjwright/coldframe).
