TurboVNC
High-speed, 3D-friendly, TightVNC-compatible remote desktop software
TurboVNC is a high-performance, enterprise-quality version of VNC based on TightVNC, TigerVNC, and X.org. It contains a variant of Tight encoding that is tuned for maximum performance and compression with 3D applications (VirtualGL), video, and other image-intensive workloads. TurboVNC, in combination with VirtualGL, provides a complete solution for remotely displaying 3D applications with interactive performance. TurboVNC's high-speed encoding methods have been adopted by TigerVNC and libvncserver, and TurboVNC is also compatible with any other TightVNC derivative. TurboVNC forked from TightVNC in 2004 and still covers all of the TightVNC 1.3.x features, but TurboVNC contains numerous feature enhancements and bug fixes relative to TightVNC, and it compresses 3D and video workloads much better than TightVNC while using generally only 5-20% of the CPU time of the latter. Using non-default settings, TurboVNC can also be made to compress 2D workloads as "tightly" as TightVNC. -

With the nxcEditor for Linux NXT and BrickPi robots can be programmed (the source code is highlighted). A NXC-program can be executed either on the real robot or the nxcSimulator, which is integrated in the nxcEditor (the official compiler is invoked from the nxcEditor). A C-program for the BrickPi robot can be programmed either locally on the Raspberry Pi or over a network (using the compiler on the Raspberry Pi). The nxcEditor (as well as the nxcSimulator) is designed so that programming beginners can be taught. -

VMAware is a cross-platform library designed to detect virtual machines. It is meant to be stupidly easy to use, with only 5 total functions in its public interface. Additionally, it supports brand detection. While there are many VM detection mechanisms that are already in use, VMAware features up to 80+ unique techniques to get the most accurate result possible. On top of the library, there's a CLI tool that takes advantage of the full library (see screenshots) It's also meant to be compatible with ARM, and 32-bit Windows, with C++11 support. The library also has separate MIT and GPL compliant code, allowing for licensing flexibility among proprietary and open-source projects. -

Libinstrument is a complete and easy way to do custom function instrumentation for C/C++. The project comes ready with classic applications of instrumentation, such as AOP (Aspect Oriented Programming), Concern and Side Effect injection, stack tracing, exception tracing, basic time profiling, callgraph profiling and other. A GC (Garbage Collector) module is also under development. Libinstrument is highly portable and decoupled. The project comes with a CMake build system, integration with IDEs (CLion, Eclipse e.t.c) is straightforward. Using lazy algorithms there is virtually zero overhead in benchmarks and minimum overhead in execution time. Libinstrument tries to be as non-intrusive as possible, while trying to help the developer offering basic reflection. There are Unit Tests for each class and method, testing is driven with CTest. -
