Primarily for use with the REVEAL web system this daemon polls a mysql database for 3d rendering requests. Currently the system will handle PMVS2 from U. Wash and Iray from Brown U. systems. VIB creates backups of any files edited using VI to a specified location while maintaining X backup revisions, and keeping a revision history of who made changes and when to a master log. VIB is Ideal in environments where you have multiple users logging into a UNIX system and you wish to keep track of whom is modifying files. For example, VIB could be 'aliased' in all new user shell accounts, so that when they edit a file using "vi", a log entry will be generated, and a backup copy of the file with their username will also be notated. The goal of VIB is to assist with tracking who modified what file, when on a UNIX/Linux systsm.

This project provides LiveCD's that can boot a fully working virtual machine hypervisor without the need to install/configure. The CD's boot a graphical (X GUI) environment that is easy to use. VirtLive can be used to run multiple operating systems on a single machine. The first release is built with Debian Squeeze for amd64 with Libvirt and Qemu/KVM. A management console is provided by Virt Manager.
