Open Source Unix Shell Video Downloaders

This program extends the features of the Dolphin's (File Manager) right click contextual menu on KDE [4.x|5.x] graphical environment. Specially designed for OS based on Red Hat.

YouTube-DL-PyTK (formerly known as YouTube-DL-GTK) is just a graphical launcher for the popular youtube downloader youtube-dl . Its purpose is simple; to facilitate the downloading of non-copyright-protected videos from certain internet websites including YouTube. It is written in Python, so it should run on Windows and Linux systems alike. I don't have access to an Apple computer to test it on Mac OS, but it might also work on that platform. Source code is included. I digitally sign some files in my releases. Aufruf: ./3sat_download.sh <VIDEO-ID> Notwendige Argumente: VIDEO_ID = Nummer aus der Video-URL im Browser (z.B. 64293, siehe Screenshot) Beispiel: ./3sat_download.sh 64293 Hinweise: -Das Paket "curl" muss installiert sein (in gängigen Distributionen vorhanden). -Die Videos werden im Verzeichnis $HOME/Videos/ gespeichert, welches bereits existieren muss! -Es empfiehlt sich einen Alias in der $HOME/.bashrc Datei zu setzen gemäß: alias 3sat_download='<Absoluter Pfad zur Datei 3sat_download.sh>' -Mitunter können manche Qualitätsstufen mehrfach mit identischen Datei(größ)en für den Download gelistet werden.

Automate the download of entire Twitch.tv channels with its metadata. Save each Twitch video into its own folder, with date and time values, video ID, stream metadata, frame screenshot, .ts parts list and sha256 hash. Keep the original ts files and generate mp4 files from them. It requires a shell and some command line utilities. See README.md for details in the Code/git section.
