opam is a source-based package manager
Opam is a source-based package manager for OCaml. It supports multiple simultaneous compiler installations, flexible package constraints, and a Git-friendly development workflow. Opam was created and is maintained by OCamlPro. To get started, checkout the Install and Usage guides. Run ./configure. If you don't have the dependencies installed, this will locally take care of all OCaml dependencies for you (downloading them, unless you used the inclusive archive we provide for each release). This is all you need for installing and using opam, but if you want to use the opam-lib (to work on opam-related tools), you need to link it to installed libraries. It's easier to already have a working opam installation in this case, so you can do it as a second step. If you install on your system (without changing the prefix), you will need to install as root (sudo). As sudo do not propagate environment variables, there wil be some errors. -

pretty-quick
Get Pretty Quick
Runs Prettier on your changed files. Pre-commit mode. Under this flag only staged files will be formatted, and they will be re-staged after formatting. Partially staged files will not be re-staged after formatting and pretty-quick will exit with a non-zero exit code. The intent is to abort the git commit and allow the user to amend their selective staging to include formatting fixes. When not in staged pre-commit mode, use this flag to compare changes with the specified branch. Defaults to master (git) / default (hg) branch. Do not resolve prettier config when determining which files to format, just use standard set of supported file types & extensions prettier supports. This may be useful if you do not need any customization and see performance issues. Check that files are correctly formatted, but don't format them. This is useful on CI to verify that all changed files in the current branch were correctly formatted. -

A simple git hooks manager for small projects. A git hook is a command or script that is going to be run every time you perform a git action, like git commit or git push. If the execution of a git hook fails, then the git action aborts. For example, if you want to run linter on every commit to ensure code quality in your project, then you can create a pre-commit hook that would call npx lint-staged. Check out lint-staged. It works really well with simple-git-hooks. You can look up about git hooks on the Pro Git book. simple-git-hooks works well for small-sized projects when you need quickly set up hooks and forget about it. However, this package requires you to manually apply the changes to git hooks. If you update them often, this is probably not the best choice. Also, this package allows you to set only one command per git hook. -

transparently encrypt files within a git repository
A script to configure transparent encryption of sensitive files stored in a Git repository. Files that you choose will be automatically encrypted when you commit them, and automatically decrypted when you check them out. The process will degrade gracefully, so even people without your encryption password can safely commit changes to the repository's non-encrypted files. transcrypt protects your data when it's pushed to remotes that you may not directly control (e.g., GitHub, Dropbox clones, etc.), while still allowing you to work normally on your local working copy. You can conveniently store things like passwords and private keys within your repository and not have to share them with your entire team or complicate your workflow. transcrypt is in the same vein as existing projects like git-crypt and git-encrypt, which follow Git's documentation regarding the use of clean/smudge filters for encryption. -

Gitslave is a script for coordinated version control of large projects combining code from multiple independent repositories using Git. More flexible than traditional git submodules, gitslave provides a simple wrapper around command-line git that manages a directory tree with multiple subsidiary ("slave") git repositories in sub-directories of a "master" git repository. Any git command run from the "gits" wrapper will be performed in all the git repositories; for example gits checkout -b newbranch will create the new branch in all repositories. CMake's missing package manager
CPM.cmake is a cross-platform CMake script that adds dependency management capabilities to CMake. It's built as a thin wrapper around CMake's FetchContent module that adds version control, caching, a simple API and more. Any downloadable project or resource can be added as a version-controlled dependency though CPM, it is not necessary to modify or package anything. Projects using modern CMake are automatically configured and their targets can be used immediately. For everything else, the targets can be created manually after the dependency has been downloaded. After CPM.cmake has been added to your project, the function CPMAddPackage can be used to fetch and configure a dependency. Afterwards, any targets defined in the dependency can be used directly. CPMAddPackage takes the following named parameters. The origin may be specified by a GIT_REPOSITORY, but other sources, such as direct URLs, are also supported. -

If an update is found and if that action is not ignored then the workflows are updated with the latest release of the action being used. If at least one workflow file is updated then a new branch is created with the changes and pushed to GitHub. Finally, a pull request is created with the newly created branch. GitHub does not allow updating workflow files inside a workflow run. -

Automatically deploy your project to GitHub Pages using GitHub Actions. This action can be configured to push your production-ready code into any branch you'd like. You can include the action in your workflow to trigger any event that GitHub actions supports. If the remote branch that you wish to deploy to doesn't already exist the action will create it for you. Your workflow will also need to include the actions/checkout step before this workflow runs in order for the deployment to work. If you intend to make multiple deployments in quick succession you may need to leverage the concurrency parameter in your workflow to prevent overlaps. The with portion of the workflow must be configured before the action will work. You can add these in the with section found in the examples above. Any secrets must be referenced using the bracket syntax and stored in the GitHub repository's Settings/Secrets menu. -

This prompt is a port of the "Informative git prompt for zsh". A bash prompt that displays information about the current git repository. In particular the branch name, difference with remote branch, number of files staged, changed, etc. The advantage of this approach is, that you only need to specify the parts, that are different to the Default theme. You can set the GIT_PROMPT_SHOW_UNTRACKED_FILES variable to no or normal to speed things up if you have lots of untracked files in your repository. This can be the case for build systems that put their build artifacts in the subdirectory structure of the git repository. Setting it to all will count all untracked files, including files listed in .gitignore. The most settings are now stored in theme files. To select a theme, set the variable GIT_PROMPT_THEME to the name of the theme located in <INSTALLDIR>/themes without the extension .bgptheme. -

This library defines an object oriented representation of the GitHub API. By "object oriented" we mean there are classes that correspond to the domain model of GitHub (such as GHUser and GHRepository), operations that act on them as defined as methods (such as GHUser.follow()), and those object references are used in favor of using string handle (such as GHUser.isMemberOf(GHOrganization) instead of GHUser.isMemberOf(String)) The library supports both github.com and GitHub Enterprise. Most of the GitHub APIs are covered, although there are some corners that are still not yet implemented. The library allows connecting to GitHub via several different authentication mechanisms. This library defines a common convention so that applications using this library will look at a consistent location. In this convention, the library looks at ~/.github property file. The content of the files depends on the way you want this library to authenticate as shown.
