phpEasyVCS is a simple version control system (VCS) with minimal hosting requirements, namely PHP 5.2+. No database is needed. Files can be viewed and uploaded with a browser or by WebDAV, which allows you to access the files like a local drive in all operating systems. For integration with other software a REST service is provided. It is very easy to view the file versions at a specific point in time. The web interface allows you to easily compare file versions and synchronize and merge local files with the files in phpEasyVCS. It is possible to host multiple repositories and define multiple users with full, read-only or no access to each of the repositories.

prcs2hg is a command (and also a Python package) to convert a PRCS project to Mercurial revisions. It would help you publish the revision history of an obsolete project whose changes were maintained with PRCS. prcs2hg requires a working prcs command to extract versions from a PRCS repository and this project also provides the restored 'k' versions of PRCS for use with prcs2hg. The source code repository is separately hosted on Bitbucket with a public issue tracker.

A syntax-only check enables extensions and unsafe constructs which would otherwise be forbidden. Using this option removes all guarantees of portability to other yaml implementations. This is useful on CI to verify that all changed files in the current branch were correctly formatted.

rcss - rcs simplified. RCS is revision control. While the newer revision controls like git have taken the world by storm, I find as a systems administrator that I don't need all the features of git, I need some thing simple and that stays on my server and is simple and easy to use. RCS fit the bill for me for revision control. RCS didn't make it easy to do things like compare, revert. So I wrote rcss, to make working with rcs MUCH simpler, at least for myself. Creates a commit heatmap across several Git and Mercurial repositories. Scans a list of paths recursively for Mercurial and Git repositories and creates a commit heat map for a specific year. Optionally reports a combined heat map for all found repositories, or a separate heat map for each repository.
