    IBPCollectionViewCompositionalLayout

    IBPCollectionViewCompositionalLayout

Backport of UICollectionViewCompositionalLayout to earlier iOS 12

IBPCollectionViewCompositionalLayout is a backport of Apple's UICollectionViewCompositionalLayout APIs for older iOS versions. It allows applications targeting iOS 12 to adopt the compositional layout model introduced with iOS 13. Developers can define complex collection views from items, groups, sections, and dimensional rules instead of writing extensive custom layout subclasses. The same approach can create lists, grids, mosaics, nested groups, banners, and independently scrolling sections. An interoperability file helps projects share layout code between systems using the native API and those using the backport. The library closely mirrors Apple's API so migration requires minimal conceptual changes. It was created to reduce duplicate layout code during the transition to newer UIKit versions.

    Offline.js

    Offline.js

Automatically display online and offline indication to your users

Offline.js is a library to automatically alert your users when they've lost internet connectivity, like Gmail. It captures AJAX requests which were made while the connection was down, and remakes them when it's back up, so your app reacts perfectly. It has a number of beautiful themes and requires no configuration. The easiest way to add Offline to your site is with Eager. Improve the experience of your app when your users lose connection. Include the javascript, one of the themes, and one of the languages on your site. You're done! To use only the JavaScript API without a UI indicator, simply leave out the CSS file. If you'd like to get a peek at how it looks on your site, disconnect your internet, or try out the simulator. Optionally, you can provide some configuration by setting Offline.options after bringing in the script.

    Paperboy

    Paperboy

a small .pdf management tool with a command-line UI

Paperboy is a tiny .pdf management utility. If you download papers and other pdf documents, you might have noticed that filenames like 1412.4880.pdf are not terribly helpful for finding anything later on. This tool helps with that. It will offer to rename and move files to a specified folder, and it even gives some filename suggestions by looking at the content and the pdf metadata. Paperboy keeps its file management dumb on purpose (no keeping files in a database or hidden library folder), so you can uninstall it at any time and your files will remain perfectly accessible. Any pointers or help with regards to generate .deb, .rpm, AUR PKGBUILD, etc is appreciated. Ideally this could be mostly automated in CI, in the end Paperboy is just a single binary with a dependency or two. How do other packages do it? If you got a good example or link, open a GitHub issue! Make sure you have poppler installed, which will provide both pdftotext and pdfinfo.

    Sonic iOS

    Sonic iOS

Bridge of iOS Devices by usbmuxd

sonic-ios-bridge is based on gidevice as the underlying iOS communication protocol. On this basis, peripheral auxiliary functions are enriched, such as automatic mounting of developer images, wda installation detection, iOS model mapping, direct use of command lines, etc. To create a command-line iOS debugging tool that executes xctest, WebDriverAgentRunner, performance monitoring and other special functions across platforms. So you can use sib to perform cross-terminal iOS automation, iOS device communication, and iOS device testing without Mac. Whether gidevice or tidevice, the main principle is to communicate with usbmux. The role of usbmux is to realize cross-platform communication with iOS device services. On the Mac, usbmuxd is a service of Apple, which is mainly used to implement TCP connections on the USB protocol. Both iTunes and Xcode use this service, so the Windows system needs to install iTunes.

    Spring Boot Admin

    Spring Boot Admin

Admin UI for administration of spring boot applications

This community project provides an admin interface for Spring Boot applications. The applications register with our Spring Boot Admin Client (via HTTP) or are discovered using Spring Cloud (e.g. Eureka, Consul). The UI is just a Vue.js application on top of the Spring Boot Actuator endpoints. Support for Python applications is available using Pyctuator. First, you need to setup your server. To do this just setup a simple boot project (using start.spring.io). As Spring Boot Admin Server is capable of running as servlet or webflux application, you need to decide on this and add the according Spring Boot Starter. Monitoring Python applications is available using Pyctuator. If you want to use a snapshot version of Spring Boot Admin Server you most likely need to include the spring and sonatype snapshot repositories. Each application that wants to register has to include the Spring Boot Admin Client.

    Swift Cross UI

    Swift Cross UI

A cross-platform declarative UI framework, inspired by SwiftUI

SwiftCrossUI implements a simple API similar but not identical to SwiftUI, allowing you to use the basic concepts of SwiftUI to create a cross-platform desktop app. SwiftCrossUI is designed to be flexible and can work with different backends, but has a focus on using GTK+ through SwiftGTK. Create cross-platform desktop apps for macOS, Linux and Windows. Work has been started to support multiple different backends. Switching backends only requires changing a single line of code! Currently there's the Gtk 4 backend, as well as an experimental AppKit backend (AppKitBackend, macOS-only). All examples use GtkBackend for maximum compatibility, but you can update them manually to try out the various available backends. Work is being done to allow the backend used by the examples to be changed from the command line.

    SwiftTweaks

    SwiftTweaks

Tweak your iOS app without recompiling!

Your users won’t see your animation study, Sketch comps, or prototypes. What they will see is the finished product - so it’s really important to make sure that your app feels right on a real device! Animations that look great on your laptop often feel too slow when in-hand. Layouts that looks perfect on a 27-inch display might be too cramped on a 4-inch device. Light gray text may look subtle in Sketch, but it’s downright illegible when you’re outside on a sunny day. These animation timings, font sizes, and color choices are all examples of “magic numbers” - the constants that give your app its usability and identity. The goal of SwiftTweaks: allow you to fine-tune these magic numbers in the debug builds of your Swift project, without having to wait for Xcode to rebuild the app.

    media-chrome

    media-chrome

Custom elements (web components) for making audio and video player

media-chrome is an open source library that provides fully customizable media player controls using native web components, allowing developers to design consistent and flexible audio and video player interfaces across different platforms and frameworks. Instead of relying on default browser controls or proprietary player APIs, Media Chrome introduces a set of reusable custom elements that can be composed using standard HTML, styled with CSS, and integrated into any JavaScript framework including React, Angular, and Svelte. The library supports a wide range of media sources, including native HTML5 video and audio elements as well as third-party players like YouTube and HLS-based streams, making it highly adaptable to different use cases. Its architecture is built around the concept of a media controller and modular control components, enabling developers to easily add, remove, or customize features such as playback controls, volume sliders, timelines, and fullscreen buttons.

    wxpy

    wxpy

Probably the most elegant Wechat personal number API

On the basis of itchat, wxpy improves the ease of use of the module through a large number of interface optimizations and provides rich function expansion. All in all, it can be used to automate the operation of various WeChat personal accounts. Judging from the recent feedback (late June 2017), there is a certain probability that the use of robots may be restricted from logging in. It is mainly manifested in the inability to log in to Web WeChat (but does not affect other platforms such as mobile phones). Comprehensive object-oriented interface, more elegant invocation. Default multi-threaded response message, faster reply. Contains practical. Receive warnings with WeChat in other projects with just two lines of code. Happy exploration and debugging, no need to change it. Can be mixed with the original interface of itchat.

    xbar

    xbar

Put anything in your macOS menu bar

xbar (the BitBar reboot) lets you put the output from any script/program in your macOS menu bar. xbar underwent a complete rewrite from the ground up in Go. You can browse all the plugins online, or write your own. To write a plugin, just write some form of executable script that outputs to the standard output. To write a plugin, you need to be able to produce some kind of executable (usually a script) that prints out lines of text. Variables are stored in JSON files alongside your plugin. The key is the name of the Variable and the name of the environment variable. The values are the user's preferences. You can programmatically modify the JSON files to adjust the values. Use the refresh control API above to refresh plugins after changing variables. Be sure to include appropriate Metadata to enhance the plugin's entry on xbarapp.com.
