A warlords II clone re-written from scratch in Java
A long time ago (in the days of MS-DOS) several friends made a bet about which one of them could write the best Warlords-style game. This project is a re-writing of my version of the resulting game (originally called "Land Of Legends"), which was MS-DOS - only and supported only Russian UI (for anyone interested, drop me a mail if you want to see the original LOL sources). Yet, a short time ago, I had a whim to bring LOL into the current world - and so LOL2 was born. It follows most of the original LOL gameplay (and re-uses most of the original LOL graphics too!)... -

Java Open Chess is a project written in Java in NetBeans IDE. There is possibility to play for 2 players on local computers and via network connection. There is also an option to play versus quite weak computer oponent. Stronger computer oponens will be implemented soon. ATTENTION: Requires Java 1.8 or higher!

Apotheosis TRPG
A Java-based tactical RPG created for a high school project.
A turn-based and grid-based tactical RPG with strong influence from Intelligent System's Fire Emblem game series. This game was initially developed to satisfy a year-long high school personal project, but will continue to be updated and refined in the future. As of Alpha 1.0, the game may be played in either singleplayer or hotseat multipalyer. It makes use of an XML database which can be modified by users to create new content such as maps, units, weapons, items, and armor. The XML parsing and serializing methods employed by the game engine make use of both the XOM (http://www.xom.nu/) and XStream (http://xstream.codehaus.org/index.html) open source Java XML libraries. -
