Space-Faring is a 2D single-player turn-based space strategy game. The strategy revolves around 4X space conquest. Some inspiration came from Master of Orion and Outpost. The game is written in Java and is still under development.

Legatus is a Java project to enable networked multiplayer play of the four main Renegade Legion systems. Centurion, Leviathan, Prefect and Interceptor. There is provision for Circus Imperium but no effort has been spent on this system as yet. The games can currently only be played with human opponents. AIs for the different games are being worked on but they are time consuming. -

...This game was initially developed to satisfy a year-long high school personal project, but will continue to be updated and refined in the future. As of Alpha 1.0, the game may be played in either singleplayer or hotseat multipalyer. It makes use of an XML database which can be modified by users to create new content such as maps, units, weapons, items, and armor. The XML parsing and serializing methods employed by the game engine make use of both the XOM (http://www.xom.nu/) and XStream (http://xstream.codehaus.org/index.html) open source Java XML libraries. -
