This is an insultingly simple project. It's just one file, existential.exe. It's 6 KB in size, has no dependencies or external libraries, and does absolutely nothing whatsoever. So if you need a dummy Windows executable, here ya go.

The purpose of this project is to create and update a beginners guide to FreeBASIC. Over the years I have noticed that there was only three real ways to learn FreeBASIC. The FreeBASIC Documentation, the FreeBASIC Community Forum, and A old beginners guide written by Richard D. Clark and Ebben Feagan. Each of these sources are great, but they all assume some experience with a programming language. This Project is taking Richard D. Clark's and Ebben Feagan's "A Beginner's Guide to FreeBasic" and is editing, updating, reorganizing, and simplifying this guide. Mr. Clark and Mr. Feagan generously open sourced there guide so I could start this project. Without being able to stand on their shoulders I could not have even started this project. Yabadabbadoo is an alternative IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for Jan Bungeroth's yab programming language for Haiku. Yabadabbadoo differs from the official yab IDE in that it creates subroutines (and some other important parts of your program) as separate files, then glues them together as required. This makes it easier to write long programs: instead of constantly scrolling up and down between subroutines, you just double-click on the one you want to edit - more like we used to work in QuickBasic. Debugging, on the other hand, becomes a little more tricky than in the official IDE. Yabadabbadoo suggests that you reserve workspace 4 for its own use and for best results demands a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768 on that workspace. Source code is included. In Yabadabbadoo format, of course.

Yunus is a simple "visual" script language. Yunus is obsolete (left in 2004). However this site exhibits many projects; you will find my other "PHP, VS.NET, Flash, Delphi" projects. eOgr is my second complete application after Yunus.

QuickerBasic is a QuickBasic 4.5 compatible compiler which attempts to implement as much of the QuickBasic language as possible, as well as extending it.

TBasic is an implementation of a minimalist BASIC (based on the Tiny Basic specification but with a few significant additions) in the C++ language. It was written for fun, as a project to create a functional language interpreter from scratch and to be potentially used as a lightweight scripting language (it can either be used as a classic command line BASIC interpreter or as a class that allows a C++ programs to load and run basic programs, register custom basic commands and interact with basic variables).

Mateusz's Saucy Editor (MSEDIT) is a simple editor working in the DOS environment. I decided to write it, because I had been using the Microsoft's EDIT editor for years, without finding any free alternative. Of course, there is plenty of free DOS editors out there, but no one has ever matched my expectations (or should I say, my taste). I guess that's because I had already been "formatted" by the MS editor :-) You will probably notice that MSEDIT is very similar to Microsoft's EDIT. That's a pure coincidence, and there is no connection at all between both of them.
