OpenPoplog is a multi-language, incrementally-compiled virtual machine-based development environment with its own extensive teaching and support material, supporting the languages Pop-11, Prolog, Common Lisp and ML on Unix, VMS, Linux and Windows.

Rune is a multi-platform text editor that has been adapted to each platform it runs on. It works on very old systems also. I don't believe old hardware should be thrown away. It is usually still very functional and can almost always be fixed if it breaks. But, many times it requires older software also. Rune is designed with that in mind.

"Steak" is a "English <--> German" dictionary for Unix Systems.

A UNIX Shell script wrapper for the VI editor. It is recommended VIB be used as an alias for the VI editor. VIB creates backups of any files edited using VI to a specified location while maintaining X backup revisions, and keeping a revision history of who made changes and when to a master log. VIB is Ideal in environments where you have multiple users logging into a UNIX system and you wish to keep track of whom is modifying files. For example, VIB could be 'aliased' in all new user shell accounts, so that when they edit a file using "vi", a log entry will be generated, and a backup copy of the file with their username will also be notated. The goal of VIB is to assist with tracking who modified what file, when on a UNIX/Linux systsm.

Command line XML parser using "expat" libraries allowing you to on the fly extract / add / modify / delete / split / format / unformat / count tag value, name and attributes. Usefull for shell scripting on UNIX or Linux based systems.

nwpedit is a small tool to cache, edit and send back files from remote shell accounts on the local system. This is useful to get work done on systems which have a slow connection or lack your favorite editor. Server can be run passively or actively.
