Rune is a multi-platform text editor that has been adapted to each platform it runs on. It works on very old systems also. I don't believe old hardware should be thrown away. It is usually still very functional and can almost always be fixed if it breaks. But, many times it requires older software also. Rune is designed with that in mind.

"rus" translates russian texts from one encoding to another. Supported encodings: koi8-r, cp866, cp1251, iso-8859-5 and macintosh. "rus" is able to determine source file encoding automatically.

SC is a C based/compatible language that uses a binary source code format and a "special" editor to provide a far more advanced programming and meta-programming environment. Furthermore SC can be both compiled, interpreted, and just in time compiled.
