We needed a datalogger, we found one. But the supplied VB6 program was very crappy, _really_ unusable, even on old XP machines. So I did mine, able to run under windows and linux. All the fun was to reverse the (binary) RS232 protocol. Our is a YC-727D with 2 thermocouple inputs, but the protocol is the same for 1, 2, 3 or 4 inputs models (YC-717, YC-727, YC-737, YC-747). Bytes orders needs to be checked for 3th and 4nd channels tough. -

DSAquire allows you to download and plot trace data from a Thurlby DSA524 digital storage adaptor (it's a 25 year old instrument, but better late than never, eh?). This program runs on a laptop with a wireless card. It scan for wireless access points (WAPs) and notes their Base Station ID or BSSID and their Received Signal Strength Indicator or RSSI. This data, along with an identifier for the physical location or 'ROOM', and the name of the computer it is being run on are stored as an ARFF file, which is compatible with programs such as WEKA and RAPIDMINER. -

This desktop application provides graphical control of K8055, a USB Experiment Interface Board by Velleman (http://www.velleman.eu/). It will be mostly platform-independend at a later time. The current (beta) version is for windows 2000/XP/Vista/7 on 32Bit. It is incompatible with all other Operating Systems and with 64Bit architecture. I stopped developing this application.
