Upterm (formerly Black Screen) is an IDE in the world of terminals. Strictly speaking, it's both a terminal emulator and an interactive shell based on Electron. Upterm shows the autocompletion box as you type and tries to be smart about what to suggest. Often you can find useful additional information on the right side of the autocompletion, e.g. expanded alias value, command descriptions, value of the previous directory (cd -), etc. All command-line programs (including emacs, ssh and vim) should work as expected. When I started writing it, I couldn't find a flexible command-line solution with a private, portable, merge-able database along with seamless GUI integration. Hence, buku. buku can import bookmarks from the browser(s) or fetch the title, tags and description of a URL from the web. Use your favorite editor to add, compose and update bookmarks. Search bookmarks instantly with multiple search options, including regex and a deep scan mode (handy with URLs). It can look up broken links on Wayback Machine. There's an Easter Egg to revisit random bookmarks. There's no tracking, hidden history, obsolete records, usage analytics or homing. Datree is a CLI tool that supports Kubernetes admins in their roles by preventing developers from making errors in Kubernetes configurations that can cause clusters to fail in production. Our CLI tool is open source, enabling it to be supported by the Kubernetes community. It’s far more effective than manual processes, such as sending an email to a slew of developers, begging them to set various limits, which likely falls on deaf ears because developers are already overwhelmed. The CLI integration provides a policy enforcement solution for Kubernetes to run automatic checks on every code change for rule violations and misconfigurations. When rule violations are found, Datree produces an alert that guides the developer to fix the issue inside the CI process. -

letsencrypt/acme client implemented as a shell-script, just add water. Dehydrated is a client for signing certificates with an ACME-server (e.g. Let’s Encrypt or ZeroSSL) implemented as a relatively simple bash script. It uses the OpenSSL utility for everything related to actually handling keys and certificates, so you need to have that installed. Other dependencies are cURL, sed, grep, mktemp (all found on almost any system, cURL being the only exception). Please keep in mind that this software and even the acme-protocol are relatively young and may still have some unresolved issues. Feel free to report any issues you find with this script or contribute by submitting a pull request. dehydrated is looking for a config file in a few different places, it will use the first one it can find. -

Dotdrop is a dotfiles manager that provides efficient ways of managing your precious config files. It is especially powerful when it comes to managing those across different hosts. The main idea of dotdrop is to have the ability to store each dotfile only once and deploy them with different content on different hosts/setups. To achieve this, it uses a templating engine that allows specifying, during the dotfile installation with dotdrop, based on a selected profile, how (with what content) each dotfile will be installed. Each dotfile is stored only once, dotdrop allows to template your config files such that the same dotfile is customized when deployed on the host you’re working on. Different profiles can be defined that allow for fine-grained control over which dotfiles have to be installed on different hosts (home, work, vps, etc). Some hosts/profiles will have all your dotfiles installed while others might just need a subset of the dotfiles. -

fx can work in two modes, cli and interactive. To start interactive mode pipe any JSON into fx. One of the frequent operations is mapping some function on an array. You can pass any number of anonymous functions for reducing JSON. fx provides a function save which will save everything in place and return saved object. This function can be only used with filename as first argument to fx command. Create .fxrc file in $HOME directory, and require any packages or define global functions. To be able require global modules make sure you have correct NODE_PATH env variable. If you need output other than JSON (for example arguments for xargs), do not return anything from the reducer. undefined value is printed into stderr by default. Sometimes it is necessary to omit some messages in JSON stream, or select only specified log messages. For this purpose, fx has special helpers select/filter, pass function into it to select/filter JSON messages. -

If you choose to go this route, you need to specify all of the following keys as colors in hex format (#RRGGBB), otherwise, validation will fail. Clone the repo and then run scripts/download.sh to download the correct binary for your system from the releases tab. gotop ships with a few colorschemes which can be set with the -c flag followed by the name of one. You can use this JavaScript Terminal library to create interactive web-based terminal applications on your website. Where commands are defined by you. You can define them on the server or in the browser's JavaScript. It can automatically call JSON-RPC service when the user types a command. Alternatively, you can provide an object with methods; each method will be invoked on the user's command (the python command can create python interpreter). An object can have nested objects which will create a nested interpreter (you can create an interactive menu of adventure games with this). You can also use a function in which you can parse user commands by yourself (you have full control of what users type into the terminal). It's ideal if you want to provide additional functionality for power users. -

Observer CLI is a library to be dropped into any beam nodes, to be used to assist DevOps people to diagnose problems in production nodes. Provide a high-performance tool usable both in development and production settings. Focus on important and detailed information about real-time running systems. Keep minimal consumption. Increments are values that are mostly useful when compared to a previous one to have an idea of what they're doing because otherwise, they'd never stop increasing: bytes in and out of the node, number of garbage collector runs, words of memory that were garbage collected, and the global reductions count for the node. Total scheduler utilization will equal 1.0 when all schedulers have been active all the time between the two refresh intervals. The result being that there is a decent chunk of CPU usage that would be mostly free for scheduling actual Erlang work (assuming the schedulers are busy waiting more than trying to select tasks to run). -

Pty is a Go package for using unix pseudo-terminals. Note that the examples are for demonstration purpose only, to showcase how to use the library. They are not meant to be used in any kind of production environment. Start assigns a pseudo-terminal tty os.File to c.Stdin, c.Stdout, and c.Stderr, calls c.Start, and returns the File of the tty's corresponding pty. InheritSize applies the terminal size of pty to tty. This should be run in a signal handler for syscall.SIGWINCH to automatically resize the tty when the pty receives a window size change notification. -
