term.js is a full xterm-style terminal emulator written in JavaScript. It was designed to bring interactive terminal behavior into the browser and was used by tty.js for web-based terminal sessions. The project includes server and client examples that connect browser terminal input and output through sockets. It supports terminal dimensions, screen keys, title events, terminal writing, data events, destruction on disconnect, and familiar xterm behavior. It also includes keyboard-driven tmux-like selection and copy-paste workflows in addition to mouse selection. The repository is no longer maintained, but it remains an important reference for browser terminal emulation and early JavaScript terminal UI work.

tty.js is a browser-based terminal application built with Node.js, Express, and Socket.IO. It lets users access terminal sessions through a web interface instead of a local terminal window. The project supports tabs, stacking windows, maximizable terminal panes, and persistent sessions. It can efficiently render command-line programs such as Vim, mc, irssi, vifm, and other interactive terminal tools. ttystudio is a terminal-to-GIF recorder built to capture command-line sessions without the usual external tooling headaches. It can record a terminal session and compile the result into a GIF or APNG using its own built-in writers. The project avoids dependencies such as ImageMagick, ffmpeg, shell scripts, and frame concatenation workflows. It records terminal frames through a pseudo-terminal, renders text using parsed bitmap fonts, and writes the animation directly from captured frame data. Users can record and compile in one step or save frames to JSON for later replay and editing. It also supports frame ranges, custom delays, borders, screenshot mode, custom quit keys, logging options, and APNG palette controls.

This Vue CLI preset allows you to quickly start a web extension. Everything you need to build a web extension (manifest.json, .zip building, etc.), thanks to adambullmer/vue-cli-plugin-browser-extension. Build the extension into the dist folder for production. A zip file is also built and is located in the artifacts directory. Build the extension for development and watch over file changes. It also automatically reloads your extension into your browsers. If you are using GitHub Actions, you can easily automatically build a zip of your extension and create a new GitHub release, each time a new tag is pushed. If running webpack in watch mode, you need to stop and restart webpack to apply configuration changes.
