I wrote v2, supporting TCP/IP and Windows which was an upgrade from the v1 that was COM-port oriented and written by my father in QuickBasic eXtended (QBX) 7.1 around 1988. The receiver must make a traceroute to the sender using the mtr program (and pressing 'd' once to switch the display mode to the continuous graph).
