Open Source Lua Task Managers

Overseer.nvim is a task runner and job management plugin designed for Neovim. It can launch, monitor, restart, stop, and organize development tasks directly inside the editor. Built-in task providers support tools such as Make, npm, Cargo, Just, and VS Code tasks.json files. A dedicated task list provides controls for inspecting status, output, results, and available actions. Developers can create custom templates, components, actions, output parsers, and multi-stage workflows using its Lua API. It also integrates with diagnostics, quickfix, DAP, testing tools, status lines, and session managers for broader development automation.
