Tracks your most used directories, based on 'frecency'. After a short learning phase, z will take you to the most 'frecent directory that matches ALL of the regexes given on the command line, in order. For example, z foo bar would match /foo/bar but not /bar/foo. The rank of directories maintained by z undergoes aging based on a simple formula. ...It's default operation is to act like tsort (1) except that it sorts by pure pkg / make dependancy (tsort sorts by grapical topology: see notes about differences). This is a straightforward shell script with alternate JAVA application to regularly monitor your hosts and let you know via GUI or email if they go down. The app can be run in a simple GUI or via the command line.
