    RuView

    RuView

Turn WiFi signals into real-time human sensing and spatial awareness.

RuView is an edge AI perception system that transforms ordinary WiFi signals into real-time environmental sensing and human pose estimation. Built on the concept of WiFi DensePose, it analyzes disturbances in WiFi Channel State Information (CSI) caused by human movement to reconstruct body position, breathing patterns, heart rate, and presence. Unlike traditional vision systems, RuView operates without cameras, wearables, or cloud connectivity, making it a privacy-first sensing solution. ...

    ttl

    ttl

Fast, modern traceroute with real-time TUI, per-hop stats

ttl is a modern traceroute-style network diagnostic tool built to feel more like an interactive, real-time “mtr replacement” than a one-shot traceroute dump. It uses a full-screen terminal UI to continuously probe paths and refresh hop-by-hop measurements, which makes transient loss, jitter, and routing changes much easier to spot. The design emphasizes per-hop visibility with live statistics, and it enriches what you see by resolving network identity details like ASN and geolocation when available. ...

Learn touch typing without leaving the terminal

A free, open-source typing tutor for the terminal. Progressive lessons, practice modes, real-time stats, and a virtual keyboard with finger hints — for QWERTY, Dvorak, and Colemak. Methodology Research on typing skill suggests that skilled typing relies more on implicit procedural control than on explicit knowledge of key locations. The paper also suggests that the keyboard is represented in terms of its row-and-column structure, not as a memorized list of individual letters. ...

    MTMC-Bridge

Relays the public channel between Meshtastic and MeshCore, Win & Linux

Mesh Bridge connects multiple LoRa mesh networks and relays text messages from the PUBLIC CHANNEL from one network to all the others. It simultaneously manages MeshCore companions (connected via USB serial) and Meshtastic node (accessible via TCP/IP or USB serial), enabling bridging between networks operating on different bands or frequencies (for example, an 868 MHz companion, a 433 MHz companion, and two separate Meshtastic routers). The bridge operates using full broadcasting: every...

You list files hundreds of times a day. Why spend your time squinting at black and white text? exa is an improved file lister with more features and better defaults. It uses colours to distinguish file types and metadata. It knows about symlinks, extended attributes, and Git. And it’s small, fast, and just one single binary. Different types of file and data will be coloured differently, and the user and group columns will be highlighted for the current user. exa can display a file’s extended...

    xsv

A fast CSV command line toolkit written in Rust

xsv is a command line program for indexing, slicing, analyzing, splitting and joining CSV files. Commands should be simple, fast and composable. Simple tasks should be easy. Performance trade offs should be exposed in the CLI interface. Composition should not come at the expense of performance. Let's say you're playing with some of the data from the Data Science Toolkit, which contains several CSV files. Maybe you're interested in the population counts of each city in the world. So grab the...

    Mooneye GB

    Mooneye GB

A Game Boy research project and emulator written in Rust

...I want this project to document as clearly as possible why certain behavior is emulated in a certain way. This also means writing a lot of test ROMs to figure out corner cases and precise behavior on real hardware. The emulator is lagging behind hardware research. I don't want to spend time making short-lived and probably incorrect fixes to the emulator if I'm not sure about the hardware behavior. On an i7-3770K desktop machine, I can usually run ROMs with 2000 - 4000% speed. Without optimizations, the speed drops to 150 - 200%, which is still fine for development purposes.
