Linux Disk Destroyer
A disk schredder application for debian-linux systems
This application wipes your storage units (HDDs, SSDs, and flash drives) and renders them unrecoverable. This process is irreversible, and the data cannot be recovered later. Using this application is especially recommended if you're considering selling your storage units. The program is powered by the default kernel module, the "shred" tool. This tool is used to delete temporary files. You can set a timer after which it will automatically delete the temporary files. You can also force the deletion of temporary files, but it will take a bit longer to complete the operation. Some files cannot be completely deleted, such as those used in real-time (for example, by browser extensions). The deleted temporary files can be both user files and Windows files (the Automatic Cleaning will delete both).

Monitor everything. OWHTTPD -- same system, only used as a light weight web server. OWFS is also ported to embedded routers, Mac OSX and Windows. Basically you can use these inexpensive little sensors and other chips with very simple wiring to sense and control the physical environment. The interface is very flexible -- everything from a web browser, to read and writing directly to the chip's "file" to integrating with your programs -- even over the internet. Debreate is a utility to aid in creating Debian (.deb) packages. Currently it only supports binary packaging (note that the term "binary package" is used loosely, as such packages can contain scripts & non-code items such as media images, audio, & more) for personal distribution. Plans for using backends such as dh_make & debuild for creating source packages are in the works. But source packaging can be quite different & is a must if you want to get your packages into a distribution's official repositories or a Launchpad Personal Package Archive (PPA). The latter from which Debreate is available. -

Using a combination of selective bit depth, color palette reduction and color type, as well as zopfli DEFLATE compression algorithm encoding that employs the pngquant and zopflipng PNG optimization tools, Crunch is effectively able to optimize and compress images with minimal decrease in image quality. While it may produce file size gains larger than those produced by lossless approaches, the impact on image quality is often imperceptible, and optimized file sizes are still significantly lower than the original. -

EPLB is DeepSeek’s open implementation of a load balancing algorithm designed for expert parallelism (EP) settings in MoE architectures. In EP, different “experts” are mapped to different GPUs or nodes, so load imbalance becomes a performance bottleneck if certain experts are invoked much more often. EPLB solves this by duplicating heavily used experts (redundancy) and then placing those duplicates across GPUs to even out computational load. It uses policies like hierarchical load balancing (grouped experts placed at node and then GPU level) and global load balancing depending on configuration. The logic is implemented in eplb.py and supports predicting placements given estimated expert usage weights. EPLB aims to reduce hot-spotting and ensure more uniform usage of compute resources in large MoE deployments. -
