MMKV for Android is an efficient, small mobile key-value storage framework developed by WeChat. Works on Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and POSIX. Efficient. MMKV uses mmap to keep memory synced with file, and protobuf to encode/decode values, making the most of Android to achieve best performance. MMKV supports concurrent read-read and read-write access between processes. Easy-to-use. You can use MMKV as you go. All changes are saved immediately, no sync, no apply calls needed. MMKV contains process locks, encode/decode helpers and mmap logics and nothing more. It's really tidy. MMKV adds about 50K per architecture on App size, and much less when zipped (apk). MMKV is published under the BSD 3-Clause license. Starting from v1.2.8, MMKV has been migrated to Maven Central. Older versions (<= v1.2.7) are still available on JCenter. -

Metrics is a Java library which gives you unparalleled insight into what your code does in production. Metrics provides a powerful toolkit of ways to measure the behavior of critical components in your production environment. With modules for common libraries like Jetty, Logback, Log4j, Apache HttpClient, Ehcache, JDBI, Jersey and reporting backends like Graphite, Metrics provides you with full-stack visibility. The central library for Metrics is metrics-core, which provides some basic functionality. The starting point for Metrics is the MetricRegistry class, which is a collection of all the metrics for your application (or a subset of your application). Each metric is associated with a MetricRegistry, and has a unique name within that registry. A gauge is the simplest metric type. It just returns a value. If, for example, your application has a value which is maintained by a third-party library, you can easily expose it by registering a Gauge instance which returns that value. -

OSM runs an Envoy based control plane on Kubernetes, can be configured with SMI APIs, and works by injecting an Envoy proxy as a sidecar container next to each instance of your application. The proxy contains and executes rules around access control policies, implements routing configuration, and captures metrics. The control plane continually configures proxies to ensure policies and routing rules are up to date and ensures proxies are healthy. -

The configuration is passed to function calls as well as plug options, and they will take priority over any environment configuration. The easiest way to use Pow with Phoenix is to use a :otp_app in function calls and set the app environment configuration. This community project provides an admin interface for Spring Boot applications. The applications register with our Spring Boot Admin Client (via HTTP) or are discovered using Spring Cloud (e.g. Eureka, Consul). The UI is just a Vue.js application on top of the Spring Boot Actuator endpoints. Support for Python applications is available using Pyctuator. First, you need to setup your server. To do this just setup a simple boot project (using start.spring.io). As Spring Boot Admin Server is capable of running as servlet or webflux application, you need to decide on this and add the according Spring Boot Starter. Monitoring Python applications is available using Pyctuator. If you want to use a snapshot version of Spring Boot Admin Server you most likely need to include the spring and sonatype snapshot repositories. Each application that wants to register has to include the Spring Boot Admin Client. -

Manage local application configuration files using templates from etcd
confd is a lightweight configuration management tool focused on keeping local configuration files up-to-date using data stored in etcd, consul, dynamodb, redis, vault, zookeeper, aws ssm parameter store or env vars and processing template resources. confd is also focused on reloading applications to pick up new config file changes. Go 1.10 is required to build confd, which uses the new vendor directory. You should have a working etcd, or consul server up and running and the ability to add new keys. Template resources are defined in TOML config files under the confdir. confd supports two modes of operation daemon and onetime. In daemon mode confd polls a backend for changes and updates destination configuration files if necessary. The metadata api prefix can be defined on the cli, or as part of your keys in the template toml file. -

Export Kubernetes events to multiple destinations with routing
This tool allows exporting the often missed Kubernetes events to various outputs so that they can be used for observability or alerting purposes. You won't believe what you are missing. Configuration is done via a YAML file, when run in Kubernetes, ConfigMap. The tool watches all the events and the user has to option to filter out some events, according to their properties. Critical events can be routed to alerting tools such as Opsgenie, or all events can be dumped to an Elasticsearch instance. You can use namespaces, and labels on the related object to route some Pod-related events to owners via Slack. The final routing is a tree which allows flexibility.
