The nagios-statd daemon allows a Nagios server to monitor and alert about various resources on remote Linux machines. If using python >= 2.6 on the remote server, nagios-statd stops accepting connections after 39 consecutive requests in a short period of time. This patch can be applied to any nagios-statd 3.12 version released by April King on 11/17/2005. It's been tested to work with python 2.3 - 2.7. -

Fleuron is a silent flash drive copier. When a flash drive is connected, Fleuron automatically starts copying the data with a Breadth First Search algorithm. In this way, the root directories are copied first and as time passes, deeper directories are copied. Primarily for use with the REVEAL web system this daemon polls a mysql database for 3d rendering requests. Currently the system will handle PMVS2 from U. Wash and Iray from Brown U. systems. Much of the code was ported from the osm-bundler system http://code.google.com/p/osm-bundler/ The daemon curently runs in win64/linux64 for PMVS and linux64 for Brown's Iray algroithm. This is a python based UI application that can rename a part of a set of files inside a directory based on the provided regular expression. This gives a lot more flexibility compared to other renaming files since it used grouping principle.
