Iso2Usb
A cross platform application to create bootable media from ISO images
You can create linux distribution, Windows bootable devices with target system as UFEI or BIOS. The project is highly inspired by Rufus which is written in C++. The windows version is written in C# and Linux with JavaFx. My main reason to create this project is to learn these languages and to practically understand how they work, such type of project inspired me a lot. Iso2Usb is bit faster than Rufus, I guess with only 8 seconds difference (tested with Elementary OS Juno). -

A Windows Format Tool for USB and Physical volumes
A simple Windows tool that can format USB or physical volumes to either NTFS or FAT32. It supports custom Volume names and quick formatting. Done out of boredom and curiosity for practicing purposes. The program will refuse to format the Windows partition. Because the Windows partition is not always C, the check is not hard-coded. Rather, I perform a comparison between the currently selected volume to format and the known System volume. If they match, I trip a flag. -

It has an utility panel to create playlists, re-organize files in folders with the name format you prefer, an utility to optimize the CD disk space. This program was written in 2002, so I don't remember much about it ... but I used it a lot, as much as my close friends. I decided only now (shame on me) to share it with everybody in the world. Hope you'll like it, also the program's help is fully working now !!! Nice to install eclipse and debugging something 10 years later ... ...

This small tool parses LogWatch mail reports and extracts serveral variables such as disk space usage, hard disk read error rate (from smartd), etc.... They are exported to a simple format that allows its use as input for tools like gnuplot, and lets you inspect these variables tendencies. This should make it easier to detect anomalies or prevent failures in your servers, than having just the value for today. -

...SAR is cumulative activity counters in the operating system. It is the most comprehensive command which helps to monitor performance of various Linux / Solaris subsystems (CPU, Memory, I/O, Disk, Network, etc) all in same log. This makes it difficult to analyze since every counter data is dumped into the log file. SarBox helps to analyze this log file and present data in graphical charts or text format.
