GRUB EFI-menuentries from /boot/efi (ef00)
GRUB 2 works with EFI but there are no menuentries built, os-prober-efi/30_os_prober_efi will fix this. os-prober-efi ist for analyzing/printing the EFI environment. Use os-prober-efi -h for more informations! 30_os_prober_efi ist the grub-mkconfig script (update-grub) and generates for each entry (*.efi) found in /boot/efi/EFI/... a menuentry. You can disable them in "/etc/default/grub". NOTE: /boot/efi/EFI/Microsoft/Boot/bootmgfw.efi is the regular EFI-Loader for Windows! A perl daemon loosely based on iWatch, used to create a "timemachine" lookalike backup with Dirvish. iWatch2 is based on iNotify. The daemon can monitor (and exclude) various sets of directories - defined in an XML file - and calls a command or script after a preset time passed (eg, starts a Dirvish backup after 1 hour). Of course not limited to execute Dirvish commands. -

...NDPMon observes the local network for anomalies in the function of nodes using Neighbor Discovery Protocol (NDP) messages, especially during the Stateless Address Autoconfiguration. When an NDP message is flagged, it notifies the administrator by writing to the syslog or by sending an email report. It may also execute a user-defined script. For IPv6, NDPMon is an equivalent of Arpwatch for IPv4, and has similar basic features with added attacks detection.
