LBActive is an dynamic and active load balancer health check system written in Python. Currently it supports only Nginx. LBActive dynamically adjusts the weight of a weighted round robin or ip hash Nginx load balancer by retrieving the current load on each backend server. Panel has been written in PHP language and uses MySQL database to manage users (login, password, email,ip and so on). Has also possibility to manage firewall rules and can show current OpenVPN status. Two possible ways to reload configuration: manual and by using crontab. It is just an example of panel and scripts. dhcp-gen is a perl script that was written by me and Trond Erik Dalho to simplify editing dhcpd.conf for adding static ip to computers and equipment on our school. It also made it easier to do manage the network by limiting some computers access to the local network only. Creating closed networks. And it also worked as a database over all our computers and equipment, making it easier to keep track of everything. All information about equipment is stored inside csv files which are comma separated.
