...dpkg_mini [install remove skel implode explode control list depends check configure] file(s).deb [dir] works in any linux with ar(1) tar(1), dpkg is not required of course is not a substitute for dpkg(8). ie, install and skel work outside of and independantly from the dpkg system. however for checking out .deb or testing or avoiding force it's a neat little tool ! see man dpkg_mini(1) despite the "quick release" not saying so, yes it is public domain -

Of course they precisely consider the transition from Julian to Gregorian calendar. ;-) -

I'm changing this to a Openbox setup. Will be making a FreeBSD base distro call BSDBox. This is the X11 SKEL for Openbox, and other programs that I design with the UI, The panel of choice is of course bmpanel2. Screenshot on the summary to see how it looks like. There is a C installer script that you can use inside home <DIR> su to the root shell, but make sure to be in your user home <DIR> ./installer should copy all the packages needed for this config, and also it will unextract the SKEL.

Honeyd2MySQL
Utility to move honeyd.log entries to a MySQL database.
This is yet another simple piece of software that extracts all the basic stats from honeyd’s text-based log files and inserts them in a MySQL database. Then you can run some queries and of course visualize the data if you want to. Many things are hardcoded or dead simple, but it does the job. The file is a modified version of “honeyd_importer” perl script originally writen by Joshua Gimer and shared through “honeypots” mailing list. -
