    OpenStatus

    OpenStatus

Status page with uptime monitoring & API monitoring as code

...It continuously probes configured endpoints and alerts users when latency thresholds are exceeded or outages occur, enabling proactive incident response. The platform also generates customizable public or private status pages that automatically reflect real-time service health, improving transparency with customers and stakeholders. Built with modern web technologies such as Next.js and Tailwind CSS, openstatus supports both managed deployments and self-hosted environments using lightweight Docker images. Its monitoring-as-code approach allows teams to define checks in YAML and integrate them into CI/CD workflows for automated validation.

    Disk Speed Test

    Disk Speed Test

Lightweight disk benchmark - a modern alternative to CrystalDiskMark

...Unlike CrystalDiskMark, which runs Microsoft's DiskSpd tool for each test, Disk Speed Test has its own native I/O engine written in Rust. Everything ships as a single small executable with no installer and no external tools. It uses unbuffered, overlapped I/O, so results reflect the drive itself rather than the Windows file cache. It offers the familiar tests (SEQ1M Q8T1, SEQ1M Q1T1, RND4K Q32T1, RND4K Q1T1) and profiles, plus things CrystalDiskMark doesn't show: a live throughput graph, latency percentiles (p50 to p99.99), per-run results and an optional mixed read/write test. Results can be copied or saved as text in the familiar CrystalDiskMark layout.

    lm-sensors

    lm-sensors

    lm-sensors repository

...The companion library, libsensors, gives applications a stable API to query sensor values, enabling desktop applets, monitoring daemons, and alerting systems to build on a common foundation. Configuration files map raw chip registers to friendly labels and scaling factors, so outputs reflect real hardware characteristics across many vendors. With this foundation, higher-level tools (like fancontrol or graphical monitors) can automate cooling policies and warn about thermal or power issues before they become failures.
