AQA-AODV is a new QoS routing protocol for MANETs based on AODV, which creates routes according to application QoS requirements. We have introduced link and path available bandwidth estimation mechanisms and an adaptive scheme that can provide feedback to the source node about the current network state, to allow the application to appropriately adjust the transmission rate. In the same way, we propose a route recovery approach into the AQA-AODV protocol, which provides a mechanism to detect the link failures in a route and re-establish the connections taking into account the conditions of QoS that have been established during the previous route discovery phase.

...The driver should be stable (built using MSKLC, which is mature) but classified as beta because it has not yet been tested on a wide variety of systems (please give feedback!) Note that this can't display characters not supported in fonts on your system! Also if you enter an unusual symbol in some programs such as MS Word the font might switch to one which includes that symbol – this isn't anything the driver can control. -

...I tried to make a free to use, free to distribute IPA keyboard for linguists to use both at home / in the office, and during fieldwork. So far the project is in its preliminary stages, as I have not received any major feedback, but if it interests other people I will continue developing it. Nevertheless, the input is fully usable, and contains a large number of IPA characters (almost all of them, in fact), and several diacritics. -

Keyboard layouts that provide a Linux-style compose key on OS X
...For OS X, there are two ways of getting a compose key: 1. With a dedicated keyboard layout such as the ones provided by this project. This has the advantage that it works in all applications and that there is visual feedback while entering the compose sequence. 2. By customizing the Cocoa text system, that is, by editing the file Library/KeyBindings/DefaultKeyBinding.dict. This has the advantage that it is easier to modify and that it will work across different keyboard layouts. It will only work on Cocoa apps, though. -
