Pylint
It's not just a linter that annoys you!
Pylint is a static code analyzer for Python 2 or 3. The latest version supports Python 3.7.2 and above. Pylint analyses your code without actually running it. It checks for errors, enforces a coding standard, looks for code smells, and can make suggestions about how the code could be refactored. Projects that you might want to use alongside pylint include flake8 (faster and simpler checks with very few false positives), mypy, pyright or pyre (typing checks), bandit (security-oriented checks), black and isort (auto-formatting), autoflake (automated removal of unused import or variable), pyupgrade (automated upgrade to newer python syntax) and pydocstringformatter (automated pep257). Pylint isn't smarter than you: it may warn you about things that you have conscientiously done or checks for some things that you don't care about. During adoption, especially in a legacy project where pylint was never enforced. -

Autograd
Efficiently computes derivatives of numpy code
Autograd can automatically differentiate native Python and Numpy code. It can handle a large subset of Python's features, including loops, ifs, recursion and closures, and it can even take derivatives of derivatives of derivatives. It supports reverse-mode differentiation (a.k.a. backpropagation), which means it can efficiently take gradients of scalar-valued functions with respect to array-valued arguments, as well as forward-mode differentiation, and the two can be composed arbitrarily. We can continue to differentiate as many times as we like, and use numpy's vectorization of scalar-valued functions across many different input values. -

Nginx configuration static analyzer
Gixy is a tool to analyze Nginx configuration. The main goal of Gixy is to prevent security misconfiguration and automate flaw detection. Currently supported Python versions are 2.7, 3.5, 3.6 and 3.7. Gixy is well tested only on GNU/Linux, other OSs may have some issues. You can find things that Gixy is learning to detect at Issues labeled with "new plugin". By default Gixy will try to analyze Nginx configuration placed in /etc/nginx/nginx.conf. Or something else, you can find all other gixy arguments with the help command: gixy --help. Gixy is available as a Docker image from the Docker hub. To use it, mount the configuration that you want to analyse as a volume and provide the path to the configuration file when running the Gixy image. If you have an image that already contains your nginx configuration, you can share the configuration with the Gixy container as a volume. -

SublimeLinter will detect some installed local plugins, and thus it should work automatically for e.g. .vue or .ts files. If it works on the command line, there is a chance it works in Sublime without further ado. Make sure the plugins are installed locally colocated to eslint itself. T.i., technically, both eslint and its plugins are described in the very same package.json. Configuration of the plugins is out-of-scope of this README. Be sure to read their README's as well. (If you just installed a plugin, without proper configuration, eslint will probably show error messages or wrong lint results, and SublimeLinter will just pass them to you.) -

This repository is for the GitHub Action to run a Super-Linter. It is a simple combination of various linters, written in bash, to help validate your source code. The super-linter finds issues and reports them to the console output. Fixes are suggested in the console output but not automatically fixed, and a status check will show up as failed on the pull request. The design of the Super-Linter is currently to allow linting to occur in GitHub Actions as a part of continuous integration occurring on pull requests as the commits get pushed. It works best when commits are being pushed early and often to a branch with an open or draft pull request. There is some desire to move this closer to local development for faster feedback on linting errors but this is not yet supported. There is no need to set the GitHub Secret as it is automatically set by GitHub, it only needs to be passed to the action. -

Comparing two different versions of a directory with text files of any kind has never been easier. Detects deleted files, new files, files with changed name but same content and of course a side-by-side / line-by-line comparison of changed files. Number of context-lines is configurable. Here's, how to call it: >python DirDiff.py dir1 dir2 output.html or >python.exe DirDiff.py -l 3 -v olddir newdir dirdiff.html -l is the number of context lines in the side-by-side comparison. -v lists all files, that exist in both directories and have the same content.
