    DEEEP

    DEEEP

Detector of Integer Vulnerabilities in Software Portability

DEEEP is a open source static analysis tool to detect, in C programs, integer vulnerabilities caused by the bad adaption of aplications from ILP32 to LP64. It uses the tools Lint and Splint, and runs over Open Solaris and Linux operating systems. This tool semantically analyses source code. More precisely, it does type checking, data-flow analysis, and it automatically correlates the results of these two types of analysis. Type checking is used for finding bugs on the way integers are handled, and data-flow analysis is used to see if hazardous functions (eg. memcpy, strcpy) are accessible from outside the program. After this two analyses, the tool correlates the results from the previous phases to attain if the data that comes from the inputs are affected by vulnerabilities from porting to LP64, and if these are handled by dangerous functions (memcpy, strcpy,...). In resume, identify if the found bugs

    DiffReport

    DiffReport

    Code Difference report

Often I have seen some Huge Maintenance Projects it is always very difficult to track the incremental files for each release and If we want to do that we need to checkout both the branches and use some UI based tool to get the diff of the files finally we end up waiting in front of the PC for a long time and do this job. In many cases we spend more than 2 hrs/day. The time increases if there are more such parallel releases and at the end of the day 1 developer does it as full time job and has zero productivity. I thought of adding value here. This just gets the diff files. Can be used for Static code analysis like PMD to do PMD only for the delta. The current status of the project is in Development". If you wish to add something please mail me.

    Edge.js

    Edge.js

Run .NET and Node.js code in-process on Windows, MacOS, and Linux

An edge connects two nodes. This edge connects Node.js and .NET. V8 and CLR/.NET Core/Mono - in process. On Windows, MacOS, and Linux. You can script C# from a Node.js process. Edge.js allows you to run Node.js and .NET code in one process on Windows, MacOS, and Linux. You can call .NET functions from Node.js and Node.js functions from .NET. Edge.js takes care of marshalling data between CLR and V8. Edge.js also reconciles threading models of single threaded V8 and multi-threaded CLR. Edge.js ensures correct lifetime of objects on V8 and CLR heaps. The CLR code can be pre-compiled or specified as C#, F#, Python, or PowerShell source: Edge.js can compile CLR scripts at runtime. Edge can be extended to support other CLR languages or DSLs. Edge.js provides an asynchronous, in-process mechanism for interoperability between Node.js and .NET.

    Fork TS Checker Webpack Plugin

    Fork TS Checker Webpack Plugin

Webpack plugin that runs typescript type checker on a separate process

Webpack plugin that runs TypeScript type checker on a separate process. Speeds up TypeScript type checking (by moving it to a separate process). Supports modern TypeScript features like project references and incremental mode. Supports Vue Single File Component. Displays nice error messages with the code frame formatted. This plugin requires Node.js >=12.13.0+, Webpack ^5.11.0, TypeScript ^3.6.0. It's very important to be aware that this plugin uses TypeScript's, not webpack's modules resolution. It means that you have to setup tsconfig.json correctly. Options passed to the plugin constructor will overwrite options from the cosmiconfig (using deepmerge). It requires TypeScript >= 3.8.0 (it's a limitation of the transpileOnly mode from ts-loader) When using TypeScript 4.3.0 or newer you can profile long type checks by setting "generateTrace" compiler option.

    GIXY

    GIXY

    Nginx configuration static analyzer

Gixy is a tool to analyze Nginx configuration. The main goal of Gixy is to prevent security misconfiguration and automate flaw detection. Currently supported Python versions are 2.7, 3.5, 3.6 and 3.7. Gixy is well tested only on GNU/Linux, other OSs may have some issues. You can find things that Gixy is learning to detect at Issues labeled with "new plugin". By default Gixy will try to analyze Nginx configuration placed in /etc/nginx/nginx.conf. Or something else, you can find all other gixy arguments with the help command: gixy --help. Gixy is available as a Docker image from the Docker hub. To use it, mount the configuration that you want to analyse as a volume and provide the path to the configuration file when running the Gixy image. If you have an image that already contains your nginx configuration, you can share the configuration with the Gixy container as a volume.

    Graphile Starter

    Graphile Starter

Opinionated SaaS quick-start with pre-built user account

Opinionated SaaS quick-start with a pre-built user account and organization system for full-stack application development in React, Node.js, GraphQL and PostgreSQL. Powered by PostGraphile, TypeScript, Apollo Client, Graphile Worker, Graphile Migrate, GraphQL Code Generator, Ant Design and Next.js. This project can serve as a basis for your own project. We've added many features that most projects require, but you're free to remove them or replace them with whatever you need. We use Next.js to serve the React app. This gives us server-side rendering, routing, bundle splitting, hot reloading, and much more. However, in development when you visit a page it must first be loaded from the file system and transpiled and bundled by the server, served to the client, and then executed. This means there can be a small delay when loading a web page for the first time in development. In production, this delay should be vastly smaller, and can be eliminated with pre-fetching.

    Halstead Metrics Tool

    Halstead Metrics Tool

Software Metrics Analyzer for C,C++,Java Programs

Some software measures are still not widely used in industry, despite the fact that they were defined many years ago, and some additional insights might be gained by revisiting them today with the benefit of recent lessons learned about how to analyze their design. This project analyzes the design and definitions of Halstead’s metrics, the set of which is commonly referred to as ‘software science’. This analysis is based on a measurement analysis framework defined to structure, compare, analyze and provide an understanding of the various measurement approaches presented in the software engineering measurement literature.

    Hydrogen

    Hydrogen

Run code interactively, inspect data, and plot

Hydrogen is an interactive coding environment that supports Python, R, JavaScript and other Jupyter kernels. Hydrogen was inspired by Bret Victor's ideas about the power of instantaneous feedback and the design of Light Table. Running code inline and in real-time is a more natural way to develop. By bringing the interactive style of Light Table to the rock-solid usability of Atom, Hydrogen makes it easy to write code the way you want to. You also may be interested in our latest project – interact – a desktop application that wraps up the best of the web-based Jupyter notebook. Watch expressions let you keep track of variables and re-run snippets after every change. Completions from the running kernel, just like autocomplete in the Chrome dev tools. Code can be inspected to show useful information provided by the running kernel. One kernel per language (so you can run snippets from several files, all in the same namespace).

    Imgbot

    Imgbot

An Azure Function solution to crawl through all of your image files

Don’t spend another second worrying about compressing your images. Install Imgbot into your GitHub projects, and focus on your application. Install Imgbot from the GitHub marketplace into your projects with the click of a button. Imgbot will send you your first pull request optimizing all of the images that it can find. Imgbot watches for new images in your repository and opens more pull requests. When you’re shipping code and hitting deadlines, it’s easy to forget about optimizing your images. But the truth is if you don’t optimize your images, you are losing out. Web pages with optimized images load faster. Faster pages have higher conversion rates, lower bounce rates, and happier users. And of course, smaller images reduce bandwidth costs for you and your visitors. Setting up and configuring your own tools can be a complicated and lengthy process. That means you are not focusing on shipping your next big update. With a few clicks, you can install Imgbot and permanently solve it.

    Infer

    Infer

    A static analyzer for Java, C, C++, and Objective-C

Infer is a static analysis tool - if you give Infer some Java or C/C++/Objective-C code it produces a list of potential bugs. Anyone can use Infer to intercept critical bugs before they have shipped to users, and help prevent crashes or poor performance. Infer checks for null pointer exceptions, resource leaks, annotation reachability, missing lock guards, and concurrency race conditions in Android and Java code. Infer checks for null pointer dereferences, memory leaks, coding conventions and unavailable API’s. Start with the Getting Started guide and our other docs to download and try Infer yourself. Infer is still evolving, and we want to continue to develop it in the open. We hope it will be useful for other projects, so please try it out or contribute to it, join the community and give us feedback!
