This software integrates a small, specialized synthesizer and vocal processor. It can be used to learn Byzantine Church singing. You can play from the keyboard, mouse or touch screen. MIDI input is also available. Voice functions include: pitch highlighting, synthesizer control by voice, pitch correction and voice-to-ison conversion. On the screen there are labels with symbols of Byzantine notes. There is a metronome. The program is oriented on the Chrysanthos tuning of the diatonic scale: 9/8 - 12/11 - 88/81. The octave is divided into 17 (or 19) non-equal parts, it allows you to get all the Byzantine modes. -

An archive of Miditzer organ midi files is also provided. All features of the original e-rolls and midis are available including stops and swell. eplayOrgan is a fully featured organ which can also be played from a full midified console or standard midi keyboards. Stops may be set using a touch screen. eplayOrgan operates under Windows. Mac and Linux are supported under Wine. The programs work just the same under Wine on Mac and Linux as they do under Windows. -

Cotovía is a unit-selection text-to-speech system for Galician and Spanish. Cotovía is distributed under the GPL3.0+ license, but each of the avaliable speaker voices has its own license. The speakers available at sourceforge are free for commercial and non-commercial uses. Another speaker, free for non-commercial uses, is avaliable through external links (see the Blog section). Cotovia has been developed by the University de Vigo and the center 'Ramón Piñeiro' for Research in Humanities, both in Galicia, Spain. Its development has involved a research group of linguists and engineers. Cotovía has been developed as a research project, therefore most of the work has been focused on the most interesting aspects from a scientific point of view. Although the performance of the whole TTS system is quite good, there are some parts that could be clearly improved.
