    Speakr

Speakr is a personal, self-hosted web application

...It provides a clean, user-friendly interface where users can input text, choose a voice style or language, and immediately hear the output, making it ideal for accessibility, content creation, and learning applications. Behind the scenes, Speakr leverages modern TTS engines and streaming audio technologies to deliver smooth and responsive speech generation without noticeable delay. The project is built with extensibility in mind, enabling developers to add custom voices, integrate additional languages, and tailor the backend for different hardware or cloud environments. It also supports saving generated audio as downloadable files so users can reuse the speech outputs in other projects, presentations, or media content.

Audio Mechanica 2025 - Sony PSP

Audio Effects Software for Sony PSP

...It's little more than an interesting demo however, due to the lag between filling the audio input buffer, and populating the output buffer, there's enough delay to put anyone off using it for anything rhythmic in real time. Maybe it could potentially serve as a wet delay channel in a multi amp rig, or inline for recording guitar to a PC.

    Ultimate Mono2Stereo

    Ultimate Mono2Stereo

A better mono to stereo audio conversion tool

What sets this frontend for ffmpeg apart from other stereo simulators is it creates an impression of stereo separation. Without trying too hard to be "true" stereo in a gimmicky fashion. More importantly, it produces none of the weird phasing, and/or time delay artifacts. And very little, if any of the tone discoloration, when those others aren't meticulously set up just right. All this is accomplished by using the ffmpeg crossover audio filter to split the sound into 8 frequency bands. The split points are based on center frequencies of a typical 1/3 octave equalizer. Those 8 bands are then panned in varying degrees to left and right. ...

When generating audio, why use sine waves and standard effects? Directly tell the sound-card how much electricity should be in the speaker/microphone wires many times per second as numbers from -1 to 1. Automatically finds good sound-card options and balances between linear interpolation speeds of consuming microphone buffer (and then any Java transform function per sample) and producing into speakers buffer and to keep delay between them small.
