OOoLilyPond (OLy) is an Extension for OpenOffice.org and LibreOffice. With OLy, you can include musical notation within text and presentation documents. The music expressions are entered as text codes and translated to images (png or eps) using LilyPond. The development has moved to GitHub (https://github.com/openlilylib/LO-ly). You will not find new releases here anymore.

echo chung is a universal echo effect that takes any sound from the selected input (ex : the system mixer) and sends its echo to the selected output (ex : the output speakers) with time delay,volume, and 3bands tone equalizer for echotone_chung.

What sets this frontend for ffmpeg apart from other stereo simulators is it creates an impression of stereo separation. Without trying too hard to be "true" stereo in a gimmicky fashion. More importantly, it produces none of the weird phasing, and/or time delay artifacts. And very little, if any of the tone discoloration, when those others aren't meticulously set up just right. All this is accomplished by using the ffmpeg crossover audio filter to split the sound into 8 frequency bands. The split points are based on center frequencies of a typical 1/3 octave equalizer. Those 8 bands are then panned in varying degrees to left and right. The varying width of each band is set to achieve the best balance between the left and right channels. Mind you: the goal was not to exactly replicate orchestral seating. It was to best alleviate that "tin can in a hole in the wall" mono sound.

autopiano_chung is an automatic midi player version of midipiano_chung brainpiano2 virtual piano synthesizer . (freebasic /autopiano folder autopiano.bi + dlls) . autopiano_test is an example of use . it plays with a random algorythm the midifiles in the "/automidi" folder (for now max 200 files) . autopiano runs on another thread than the main program to minimize overhead , especially on multicore cpus . to change midipiano sounds settings run /autopiano/brainpiano2_chung.exe

Playlist Repair scans music-playlists (M3U and PLS) for dead-links (moved or renamed files) and double entries. The search-enginge finds moved and similar named files and replaces the wrong entrys in the Playlist.

CApieces is a compact win32 program for generating cellular automata music. It uses linear, binary CA with dependance on two previous timesteps (k=2, r=1.5) You can easily save/load any rule/state/tuning configuration you want to keep.

This program synthesises Polyphase Finite Impulse Response filters, suitable primarily for sample-rate conversion and phase-shifting applications. It uses a novel technique for synthesising individual asymmetrical sub-filters, rather than the conventional method of decomposing a large prototype filter.
