...The usual tag editor features are supported like extracting tag information from filenames, renaming files based on their tags by using patterns and basic tag editing. Then there’re Functions, which can do things like replace text, trim it, do case conversions, etc. Actions can automate repetitive tasks. Doing web lookups using Amazon (including cover art), Discogs (does cover art too!), FreeDB and MusicBrainz is also supported. There’s quite a bit more, but I’ve reached my comma quota. Supported formats: ID3v1, ID3v2 (mp3), MP4 (mp4, m4a, etc.), VorbisComments (ogg, flac), Musepack (mpc), Monkey’s Audio (.ape) and WavPack (wv). -

It can distinguish between similar songs offering you a list with best matches highlighted in green. Audio files with lower similarity are listed as well in case there are duplicates with lower bitrate. These are highlighted in yellow and red. You can select them by color if you wish to delete them or you can add them to a list with excluded files in case you wish to keep duplicates or not to be scanned next time. ...Then you typically find out that your player model it is not manufactured anymore, and that the new model comes with a different disk which doesn't have your favorite songs. And of course it does not read the disk from the old player either. In this case the only way you can access the songs from your old player disk is by extracting them into the music/lyrics files, and use some karaoke player like XBMC to play them.

...The system consists of two parts, one that translates the positions of the hands into musical values and one that sends out midi signals separated by different channels (midi channels 1 - 4, in this case). The signals were routed by an internal midi-router like LoopBe and sent to any softsynth. If you put your arm against the side of your body, the music stops. The more you lift your arm, the higher the tone. If you leave your arm in that position, the tone stays on. -

...It was mainly developed using Borland Pascal (with some assembler bits by Keywiz) in a 386dx with a Sound Blaster Pro card, and even though it wasn't 100% finished, it was functional enough to create 3 demo songs which are included in the package. I originally made this back in 1994 when I was 17 and active in the argentine demoscene, but I will not be developing this any further, so I'm posting it here in case anybody is interesting in continuing it.
