    Testcontainers node

    Testcontainers node

Supports tests, providing lightweight, throwaway instances of database

Testcontainers is an open source library for providing throwaway, lightweight instances of databases, message brokers, web browsers, or just about anything that can run in a Docker container. No more need for mocks or complicated environment configurations. Define your test dependencies as code, then simply run your tests and containers will be created and then deleted. With support for many languages and testing frameworks, all you need is Docker. Use a containerized instance of your database to test your data access layer code for complete compatibility, without requiring a complex setup on developer machines. Trust that your tests will always start with a known state. Use containerized web browsers, compatible with Selenium, to run automated UI tests. Each test gets a fresh, clean instance of the browser, without having to worry about variations in plugins or required updates.

    VK-GL-CTS

    VK-GL-CTS

Khronos Vulkan, OpenGL, and OpenGL ES Conformance Tests

VK-GL-CTS (Vulkan and OpenGL Conformance Test Suite) is the official test suite developed by the Khronos Group to verify conformance of graphics drivers with Vulkan, OpenGL, and OpenGL ES specifications. These tests are essential for vendors seeking certification, as they rigorously check the correctness and completeness of driver implementations against standardized behavior. The suite contains thousands of automated tests that assess rendering accuracy, API behavior, memory usage, and performance consistency. It is widely used by GPU vendors and developers to ensure compatibility, stability, and reliability across platforms and hardware.

    cocoyaxi

    cocoyaxi

A go-style coroutine library in C++11 and more

cocoyaxi (co for short), is an elegant and efficient cross-platform C++ base library. It contains a series of high-quality base components, such as a go-style coroutine, coroutine-based network programming framework, command line, and config file parser, high-performance log library, unit testing framework, JSON library, etc. co has implemented a go-style coroutine, which has the following features. Multi-thread scheduling, the default number of threads is the number of system CPU cores. Shared stack, coroutines in the same thread share several stacks (the default size is 1MB), and the memory usage is low. Simple test on Linux shows that 10 millions of coroutines only take 2.8G of memory (for reference only). There is a flat relationship between coroutines, and new coroutines can be created from anywhere (including in coroutines). Support system API hook (Windows/Linux/Mac), you can directly use third-party network library in coroutine.

    doctest

    doctest

    Fastest feature-rich C++11/14/17/20 single-header testing framework

doctest is a new C++ testing framework but is by far the fastest both in compile times (by orders of magnitude) and runtime compared to other feature-rich alternatives. It brings the ability of compiled languages such as D / Rust / Nim to have tests written directly in the production code thanks to a fast, transparent and flexible test runner with a clean interface. The framework is and will stay free but needs your support to sustain its development. There are lots of new features and maintenance to do. There are many C++ testing frameworks - Catch, Boost.Test, UnitTest++, cpputest, googletest and others. The key differences between it and other testing frameworks are that it is light and unintrusive. Ultra light on compile times both in terms of including the header and writing thousands of asserts. Doesn't produce any warnings even on the most aggressive warning levels for MSVC/GCC/Clang.

    factory_bot

    factory_bot

A library for setting up Ruby objects as test data

factory_bot is a fixtures replacement with a straightforward definition syntax, support for multiple build strategies (saved instances, unsaved instances, attribute hashes, and stubbed objects), and support for multiple factories for the same class (user, admin_user, and so on), including factory inheritance. factory_bot provides a framework and DSL for defining and using factories - less error-prone, more explicit, and all-around easier to work with than fixtures. Each factory has a name and a set of attributes. The name is used to guess the class of the object by default. It is recommended that you have one factory for each class that provides the simplest set of attributes necessary to create an instance of that class. If you're creating ActiveRecord objects, that means that you should only provide attributes that are required through validations and that do not have defaults. Other factories can be created through inheritance to cover common scenarios for each class.

Marathon -GUI Test Runner Web, Swing, FX

Marathon supports testing of Java/Swing and Java/Fx applications.

Marathon provides an integrated environment for test script creation and execution. Supported FW: Web, Java Swing/ Java FX. Currently, Marathon supports JRuby script models for recording the test scripts.Marathon test runner generates Allure test reports.Marathon allows for grouping of test cases. It also has an option of inserting modules while recording(in MarathonITE while recording). It allows tester to inset checklist while recording and also takes screen capture and annotate it in playing the test cases. Extraction of code into modules and inserting it is very easy using marathon. It has different themes of UI which attracts tester to do work on it. Object mapping is quite simple and configuring is very easy for tester to understand and do the work. Debugging of test scripts is also easy and has script console which takes selenium commands. Slow play of test cases is also available. It allows to create multiple fixtures for different types of tests.

    FORTRAN Unit Test Framework (FRUIT)

FORTRAN Unit Test Framework FRUIT - TDD in FORTRAN

FORTRAN Unit Test Framework, written in FORTRAN 95. So that all FORTRAN features can be tested. FRUIT has assertion, fixture, setup, teardown, report, spec, driver generation. Rake used as build tool. Tutorials at http://fortranxunit.wiki.sourceforge.net The core testing part is in FORTRAN, this part can be used independent of the Ruby codes. The Ruby code is to make fixtures and reports easier. Rake is to build the project elegantly. This project also demonstrate a new way to build mixed language code in an alternative way than Make. Most of the FORTRAN are important in nature, used in nuclear and aerospace codes, etc, and maintained and written actively. Please help to bring TDD practices to the FORTRAN community. The change could be very hard, personally, I quit, since I could not make the change. I hope your organization will be successful. Enjoy a cup of fruit while maintaining FORTRAN ! Terratest

    Terratest

Go library that makes it easier to write automated tests

Terratest is a Go library that provides patterns and helper functions for testing infrastructure, with 1st-class support for Terraform, Packer, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, and more. Create a file ending in _test.go and run tests with the go test command. E.g., go test my_test.go. Use Terratest to execute your real IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Packer, etc.) to deploy real infrastructure (e.g., servers) in a real environment (e.g., AWS). Use the tools built into Terratest to validate that the infrastructure works correctly in that environment by making HTTP requests, API calls, SSH connections, etc. Undeploy everything at the end of the test. Write automated tests for infrastructure code, including the code you write for use with tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and Packer. This code is released under the Apache 2.0 License.

    forever

    forever

CLI tool for ensuring that a given script runs continuously

A simple CLI tool for ensuring that a given script runs continuously (i.e. forever). Note that this project currently fully depends on the community for implementing fixes and new features. For new installations we encourage you to use pm2 or nodemon. If you are using forever programmatically you should install forever-monitor. There are two ways to use forever: through the command line or by using forever in your code. Note: If you are using forever programatically you should install forever-monitor. You can use forever to run scripts continuously (whether it is written in node.js or not). In addition to passing forever the path to a script (along with accompanying options, described above), you may also pass forever the path to a JSON file containing these options. The forever module exposes some useful methods to use in your code. Each method returns an instance of an EventEmitter which emits when complete.
