Logging utility for DB2 for LUW written in SQL-PL

...Its purpose is to provide an easy way to write messages from a SQL routine, with the possibility to query these messages directly from the database, allowing to monitor the progression of a process. This utility aims to reduce the time used for developing, testing, debugging and monitoring SQL routines, by centralizing the messages produced by the code. The idea and architecture of this utility are based on the popular Java logging utilities, such as Log4j and slf4j/logback. * Log4j - http://logging.apache.org/log4j * Logback/SLF4J - http://logback.qos.ch/ - http://www.slf4j.org/ The licenses of this project are: * For the source code is "BSD 2-Clause license"...

    Sinon.JS

    Sinon.JS

Test spies, stubs and mocks for JavaScript

Standalone test spies, stubs and mocks for JavaScript. Works with any unit testing framework. As before, Sinon.JS provides utilities that help test frameworks reduce the boiler-plate. As of Sinon 10 we stopped maintaining compatibility with legacy browsers. Instead, we focus on compatibility with evergreen browsers, Node.js LTS versions and recent Safari versions. The most up-to-date reference on which runtimes and browsers we support can be found by looking at our compatibility docs. Fake timers are synchronous implementations of setTimeout and friends that Sinon.JS can overwrite the global functions with to allow you to more easily test code using them. ...

...Instead of recording GUI mechanics directly, it asks the user for descriptive names and hence builds up a "domain language" along with a "UI map file" that translates it into the current GUI layout. The point is to reduce coupling, allow very expressive tests, and ensure that GUI changes mean changing the UI map file but not all the tests. Instead of an "assertion" mechanism, it auto-generates a log of the GUI appearance and changes to it. The point is then to use that as a baseline for text-based testing, using e.g. TextTest. It also includes support for instrumenting code so that "waits" can be recorded, making it far easier for a tester to record correctly synchronized tests without having to explicitly plan for this.

The aim of the project is to provide a testing tool that would reduce the cost associated with the regression testing process. The tool provides test case subset selection so that the user need not run the redundant test cases.
