CxxTest is a unit testing framework for C++ that is similar in spirit to JUnit, CppUnit, and xUnit. CxxTest is easy to use because it does not require precompiling a CxxTest testing library, it employs no advanced features of C++ (e.g. RTTI) and it supports a very flexible form of test discovery.

GoogleTest is Google's C++ mocking and test framework. It's used by many internal projects at Google, as well as a number of notable projects such as The Chromium projects, the OpenCV computer vision library, and the LLVM compiler. This GoogleTest project is actually a union of what used to be two separate projects: the old GoogleTest and GoogleMock, an extension of GoogleTest for writing and using C++ mock classes. Since they were so closely related, they were merged to create an even better GoogleTest. GoogleTest features an xUnit test framework, a rich set of assertions, user-defined assertions, death tests, among many others. It's been used on a variety of platforms, including Cygwin, Symbian, MinGW and PlatformIO.

DUMA (Detect Unintended Memory Access) is a multi-platform memory debugging library. It can detect memory leaks and buffer overruns (or underruns) in a malloc() / new memory buffer. A modern, C++-native, test framework for unit-tests, TDD and BDD - using C++14, C++17 and later (C++11 support is in v2.x branch, and C++03 on the Catch1.x branch). Catch2 is mainly a unit testing framework for C++, but it also provides basic micro-benchmarking features and simple BDD macros. Catch2's main advantage is that using it is both simple and natural. Test names do not have to be valid identifiers, assertions look like normal C++ boolean expressions, and sections provide a nice and local way to share set-up and tear-down code in tests. You are on the devel branch, where the v3 version is being developed. v3 brings a bunch of significant changes, the big one being that Catch2 is no longer a single-header library. Catch2 now behaves as a normal library, with multiple headers and separately compiled implementation.

RegressionSuite is a software test suite that incorporates measurement of the startup lag, measurement of accurate execution times, generating execution statistics, customized input distributions, and processable regression specific details as part of the regular unit tests. Essentially, RegressionSuite provides the frame-work around which the individual unit regressors are invoked (and details and statistics collected). Unit regressors are grouped into named regressor sets (or modules), and regressors are created by implementing specific regressor interfaces. These two features make regressors particularly amenable to testing analytics (and other similarly state-light) modules.
