...The masters monitor source-code repositories for changes, coordinate the activities of the workers, and report results to users and developers. Workers run on a variety of operating systems. You configure Buildbot by providing a Python configuration script to the master. This script can be very simple, configuring built-in components, but the full expressive power of Python is available. This allows dynamic generation of configuration, customized components, and anything else you can devise. The framework itself is implemented in Twisted Python, and compatible with all major operating systems.

gh-ost is a triggerless online schema migration solution for MySQL. It is testable and provides pausability, dynamic control/reconfiguration, auditing, and many operational perks. gh-ost produces a light workload on the master throughout the migration, decoupled from the existing workload on the migrated table. It has been designed based on years of experience with existing solutions, and changes the paradigm of table migrations. All existing online-schema-change tools operate in similar manner: they create a ghost table in the likeness of your original table, migrate that table while empty, slowly and incrementally copy data from your original table to the ghost table, meanwhile propagating ongoing changes (any INSERT, DELETE, UPDATE applied to your table) to the ghost table. ...

...Argus eyes work by going over a straightforward JSON file containing the resolutions you want to capture, as well as the pages with theirs url's, and the components with their CSS-selectors. Once argus eyes know where to find the components, it's time for some command line action. The first command you want to use is $ argus-eyes capture master. This makes argus eyes go over the config file and take screenshots of all specified components in there. The screenshots are saved in .argus-eyes/master and this set of screenshots can be compared with another set.
