ARK-Store
Android app store for open-source apps released on GitHub
ARK-Store is an Android app store for open-source apps published on GitHub. A developer adds the topic "arkstore" to a public, licensed repository and attaches an APK to a release; the app then appears in the store and every new release is offered as an update. No account, review queue or fees.
Apps are installed and updated straight from their releases, and Codeberg and GitLab work the same way. Optional switches add apps found by searching GitHub, Codeberg and GitLab, and the IzzyOnDroid and F-Droid catalogues; an app offered by several places is listed once.
Before installing, the store checks the package name and signing keys and warns about an app signed with a different key. A background check notifies about new versions and, on Android 12 and later, can install updates automatically. Available in 17 languages.
