NSISBI aims to remove the current 2GB limit found in NSIS. This version adds support for using a separate file for storing the install data, therefore allowing installer sizes up to a theoretical max size of 8EB (this is controlled by NSIS_CONFIG_EXTERNAL_FILE_SUPPORT, this is turned on by default). On versions before 7069-1, the compiler (makensis) is designed to run on 64 bit machines as this is the feature needed to make installers bigger than 2GB. On versions before 7208-1, source files added to the installer are limited to 2GB per file (this is controlled by NSIS_CONFIG_LARGE_FILE_SUPPORT, this is turned on by default). This project is the result of several different experiments focused on relieving the 2GB limit in NSIS, so it's still a work in progress. I'll try to keep it up to date with each major NSIS release. -

Pluggable foundation blocks for building loosely coupled distributed apps. Includes implementations in Redis, Azure, AWS, RabbitMQ and in memory (for development). When building several big cloud applications we found a lack of great solutions (that's not to say there aren't solutions out there) for many key pieces to building scalable distributed applications while keeping the development experience simple. Wanted to build against abstract interfaces so that we could easily change implementations. Wanted the blocks to be dependency injection friendly. We were initially using an open-source Redis cache client but then it turned into a commercial product with high licensing costs. Not only that but there weren't any in-memory implementations so every developer was required to set up and configure Redis. We initially looked at NServiceBus (a great product) but it had high licensing costs (they have to eat too) and was not OSS friendly. -

Go Micro is a framework for distributed systems development. Go Micro provides the core requirements for distributed systems development including RPC and Event driven communication. The Micro philosophy is sane defaults with a pluggable architecture. We provide defaults to get you started quickly but everything can be easily swapped out. Crawlers based on simple requests to HTML files are generally fast. However, it sometimes ends up capturing empty bodies, especially when the websites are built on such modern frontend frameworks as AngularJS, React and Vue.js. Powered by Headless Chrome, the crawler provides simple APIs to crawl dynamic websites. Support both depth-first search and breadth-first search algorithm. Save screenshots for the crawling evidence, emulate devices and user agents, priority queue for crawling efficiency, obey robots.txt, and more. The static crawlers are based on simple requests to HTML files. They are generally fast, but fail scraping the contents when the HTML dynamically changes on browsers. Dynamic crawlers based on PhantomJS and Selenium work magically on such dynamic applications. However, PhantomJS's maintainer has stepped down and recommended to switch to Headless Chrome, which is fast and stable. This crawler is dynamic and based on Headless Chrome. -

Homebrew installs the stuff you need that Apple (or your Linux system) didn’t. Homebrew installs packages to their own directory and then symlinks their files into /usr/local. Homebrew won’t install files outside its prefix and you can place a Homebrew installation wherever you like. Trivially create your own Homebrew packages. It’s all Git and Ruby underneath, so hack away with the knowledge that you can easily revert your modifications and merge upstream updates. Homebrew formulae are simple Ruby scripts. Homebrew complements macOS (or your Linux system). Install your RubyGems with gem and their dependencies with brew. Homebrew Cask installs macOS apps, fonts and plugins and other non-open source software. Making a cask is as simple as creating a formula. -
